African Pride Moisture Miracle Pre-Shampoo Hair Detangler, 18 Oz

I was looking for a product like this for many years, my daughter and I can not believe how good this product is. As a disabled mom, with serious difficulty to use my hands, this is a truly life saver to us. No more pain for any of us. I was able to do my two daugthers hair in half of a time I used to spend for just 1 of them. And it is a Type 4 hair, extremely dry, coily and with natural dread in some areas. Product is creamy, light, fruity fragrance (smell like coconut and soursop to me), not greasy, detangle since first application. I decided to do it a little bit different: I washed the hair, divided in sections, apply the product, detangled, didn't rinse it and did the hair style. After all, container looks the same, you just need a little bit to smooth the hair. The brush didn't break neither my wallet, is just $7!!

This pre-shampoo detangler is a absolute necessity for my hair routine! It provides amazing slip, softens curls, and makes detangling knots quick and painless before washing. It significantly reduces hair breakage and leaves my hair feeling moisturized and manageable. Highly recommend for wash day!

My hair is down past my backside. So it tangles very badly. Even when I sleep. And I rip out so much of my thin hair that it makes me cry. But this product has stopped that. I can put it on my hair for 20-30 minutes and rinse out (starting with the ends) and the knots just wash away. My hair actually is retaining moisture! I've never been able to accomplish that before now. It's is so soft... and my hair smells absolutely amazing all the time. I truly love and stand behind this product!

This is the best detangling product I’ve ever used! My daughter has 4c hair and she has A LOT of it! I’ve been faithfully using Aunt Jackie’s Knot on my Watch because so far that’s the only product that has been able to help. I’ve tried everything. So I buy Aunt Jackie’s in bulk. I happened to buy this product by randomly seeing it on my feed and thought why not? If I can find something better I’m willing to try. Yesterday my daughter and I went to the water park.. she just had her hair up in a bun that partially came out, so we were both prepared to have to detangle by sections.. I just took a hand full of the pre shampoo and rubbed it on her hair and LISTEN! it glided right through onto her hair.. I take the brush and boom. Just slides on down her hair. No catching, no breaking, just brushing through her hair. I was literally laughing like this is crazy?! My daughter was also happy because most times it takes me up to 30 minutes to detangle her hair before we wash it and that time was literally cut in half. I’m just amazed with this product I can’t say enough about it. I came here to get the leave in because now I am a regular customer of whatever products lol. BUY IT!

I really love this product! I could never understand why it's so cheap, but I'm thankful for it. I love using it before I wash my hair. It smells good, it feels good, and it actually seems to get some of the tangles out (I have curly hair). I will definitely continue to buy different products from this brand. Overall a really great experience!

I love African Pride products. They work extremely well in my hair. My hair tends to be dry and the moisturizers keep my hair hydrated and with a nice sheen. Curls last and my hair is soft. This is my first time trying the pre shampoo. I had never seen it before. But the fact that it’s “detangling and conditioning/helps minimize breakage for natural curls and coils immediately grabbed my attention. It smells WONDERFUL!!!! That is a huge plus for me. I took a small section of hair to do a strand test. AMAZING!!! My curls are so pretty. Has a nice look and feel. My curls hang instead of shrinking. What I REALLY love is that my hair does not have that tacky feeling after applying. Very soft!!! This is definitely going to be on my list to continue purchasing and I will be telling my daughter and sister that have curls as well. My only reason for not giving this 5 stars is because the jar was slightly opened when I took it out of the box. To secure the product in shipping, there definitely needs to be something to keep it from spillage. Perhaps a sticker across the top or wrap in plastic and bubble wrap. Other than this I am a satisfied customer.

TLDR: For the price, slippage, ease or detangling on either wet or dry hair this product is a knockout! Buy it immediately if you struggle to detangle yours or your child’s hair. I wish I’d found this sooner! Also the 3 pack of the 12oz is the best bargain long term. Initial Review: I’ve been a natural since 2007 and let me tell you I’ve tried so many products over time & found product regimens that worked before they were reformulated or discontinued. Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose line I’m looking at you, & this detangler leaves all of them in the dust! I thought Knot Today was the best I could find unless I make my own flaxseed hair gel until I tried this on a whim. It has better slippage & requires less product. It feels very close to my flaxseed gel in terms of goey texture but allows my Tangle Teaser to move through my hair with ease even without doing finger detangling first. Even my own gel won’t do that! I didn’t notice any discernible odor either. This is important since strong smelling hair & body products can give me terrible migraines. Also while I could easily detangle this immediately upon application of my wet hair I noticed it seems to improve if I sit under the hot cap for 30 mins to an hour. A little of this stuff goes a long way & since I have BSL hair that’s also important to me since my hair tends to eat up product. I sincerely hope this company never discontinues or alters the current formulation of this product as it has become a literal HG product in my wash day routine. The only scenarios I haven’t used it yet is post braid take down & post henna (tangles & hardens my hair). I will come back to update then. However if it continues to perform as it did in other circumstances I will never detangle with another product again!

All the rave reviews are TRUE! I definitely recommend this. Smells great and helps with tangles. Smooths it out like BUTTER! For reference, I have 4C hair and this works 100% on my coarse, tightly knit hair

I didn’t think it would make a difference to my hair wash routine and boy was I WRONG. It leaves my hair feeling soft and has such a great slip for deranging. I am on my second tub!

This has been a game changer for my 4c hair. I use it before every shampoo and my hair is so soft and hydrated after washing. My hair doesn't feel dry and stripped after washing like it used to. It's also so good as a detangler when taking down braids. Highly recommend for anyone struggling with really dry, stripped hair after wash days. Your hair comes out so soft after and easily takes up products after that.

Genial ,te deja el pelo súper hidratado y se desenreda genial ,pero tienes que ponerte mucho ,tengo pelo afro y en 2 veces me lo termine . Cunde poco si tienes mucho pelo ,no lo comprare mas .
