Vegan Mineral Powder Foundation - Light to Full Coverage, Natural-Looking Finish, Cruelty Free, No Chemicals (MF1)

I was paying $40 for a supposed long lasting mineral foundation with spf and took weeks to arrive. This foundation stays all day, even through sweat, gives buildable coverage, looks great, and doesn't get as shiny as other mineral foundations I've tried.

Love it! This is definitely a Mineral Foundation in which you have to use a kabuki brush for application. 100% natural finish. It would take awhile to obtain full coverage, but I think it's possible. I purchased a Mineral Concealer to keep the natural finish but assist in dark spot coverage. Very impressed. I have tried many Mineral foundations and this is my 2nd favorite of all time. My favorite formula has changed (for the worst)/discontinued (Tarte). It is also acne safe because it does not contain pore-clogging ingredients.

This foundation has a nice feel, the color was good and has a very natural finish. No creasing in the fine lines. It’s just a little too sheer for my under eye dark circles, so I’ll need a concealer for them.

Great Purchase. Good coverage and quantity for the price. It's worth the purchase!

The posting says to email a pic of yourself yet there's no where to email them. So I relied on the pics of the women and the color of the powder on the ad. I now believe those women are just using the product in some way but not meant to rep the color as foundation. I have medium olive skin and normally use Cover Girl Honey or L'Oreal Sand. I tried the MF4, according to the pic. Way too light. Next I tried MF5, where the model is a darker tone than me. Still too light but useable for going around town on errands -- not for work or dates -- and need to darken it with highlighters. I think now MF7 would work for me (why is 6 darker than 7?) and yet I'm really not a dark skinned person. I don't think I'll purchase another one of these, though. I probably should have sent it back again but I didn't really play with it enough within the 30 day window. I also felt it was hard to apply (it does NOT come with a brush). I used a standard powder brush and tried tapping some into the cap through the tiny holes. You have to tap for 5 min to get enough out. Very noisy -- tap tap, tap tap tap, tap, tap tap tap tap. But taking the plastic stopper out is difficult and doesn't appear to be something the manufacturer expects you to do. If you leave it out altogether, the powder would be a mess in the top of the jar next time you go to use it. So I'm stumped. It doesn't feel drying and it doesn't cake, so that's nice. But it's not a replacement for full coverage. It's a very natural look and doesn't really pair well with layering other cosmetics, imo -- because it looks like you forgot the foundation. I feel this is a nice option if your young and trying to use more natural products but also like a nude look. I would probably use this as a powder over foundation more than I would use it as a foundation.

Love this powder. Goes on lightly, covers good and doesn't smell bad either. Would like to see more coverage and better price.

This Mineral Foundation is super amazing! I have ordered it the second time and I will definitely order it again. My skin is quite oily, but this foundation doesn't clog pores. The skin looks very smooth and beautiful with it! I have two shades Nr 4 and Nr 5. My skin is medium light and Nr 4 is very natural shade, I use it every day all year. Nr 5 is a little bit darker and perfect for summer! I also love to mix these two colors! One jar is enough for 5-6 months when you use it every day. I'm so happy I have found GAYA cosmetics! I would love to try other products, I'm sure they are perfect too! P. S. The only minus that the shipping to Lithuania is expensive, so I order to my friends in UK and they send me my order. But it isn't a barrier for me to buy and use these products!

I love this product! Better coverage than other more expensive mineral make up and I have tried many! Covers blemishes and red patches really well - I use a small brush to apply a concentrated amount to any red / spotty areas as necessary then use a large foundation brush to cover whole face and blend over target areas already covered. I did not know what shade, I have very pale skin and I found MF2 to be a perfect shade! I don't like my foundation in any ways dark or "orange" looking so this was just perfect. I have found that even applying once most days, this has lasted me several months! It does not run / come off when I am sweaty A great buy, would thoroughly recommend.

I have a large collection of powder make up in my drawer which I have collected over time as I looked for perfect make up. I have generally been disappointed with every ted. I was looking for a face powder that would match the colour of my skin, and hide blemishes on my face without looking 'made up'. Gaya mineral foundation make up was it. I put a little bit it on my face and it looked like a second skin, only without any spots or blemishes. Smooth and glowing. The shade was spot on. I am throwing away all my old powders. I have found my match.

Came across Gaya cosmetics purely by chance while looking for something else - not even make-up! After reading all the good reviews (and discovering that Gaya is vegan - hugely important to me) I did something I rarely do - buy a make-up product without seeing the colour/feel/quality of it etc in real life. Couldn't decide between MF3 and MF5 as looked very similar, but then noticed MF3 wasn't available so had to go for MF5. And what a result - it was the perfect colour! I'm natural blonde, light to medium skin tone with a few freckles and bit of redness occasionally on cheekbones, and this disappears perfectly onto my skin, not giving complete coverage, but just making my skin look better. Obviously the more you apply the more coverage you can achieve, but I like the fact my freckles still show through but I just get a more 'polished' finish. I'm not a fan of liquid foundation, tending to use tinted moisturiser instead, but sometimes find even these too heavy. I've also used BareMinerals over the years (in Medium Beige) but more recently have found it gives me a rather 'chalky/caked' finish and I don't like the fact it seems to sit in my wrinkles and highlight them! Gaya mineral foundation seems to be far finer milled which therefore doesn't give that caked looked or sit in fine lines. I suggest getting the Gaya Kabuki brush too as this applies the powder beautifully. I wouldn't use it as a concealer under the eyes, but if you need to cover a small blemish or any areas of redness, it works very well using a small concealer brush and dabbing the powder onto that area. I'm totally sold and cannot imagine finding anything else I'll ever like as much. I've noticed that MF5 isn't available now, so hope that's only a temporary situation and by the time I run out it'll be in stock again. Please Gaya - don't get me hooked and then not be able to supply me with something I've fallen in love with!!
