Collapsible FTC - Large Fish Trap

Cool item to add to your tank. I have a 150 gallon tank and this fits nicely on the side of the tank and out of the way. I use it for any new fish being added and floating their bag to accumulate their water temp and if any fish get aggressive, I put them in it to separate them until they mellow out or until I can return the aggressive fish back to the pet store. Best of all, sick or injured fish are in a safe haven in it and can heal nicely without being threatened by other fish while still in the cycled water they need and are used too.. It's larger then most and that is awesome. Lots of room for a fish or two, when needed. A small silk plant can be added to add security of safe hiding for fish. This is EASY to use and EASY to feed fish in it. Just open the door when you are ready to release any fish from inside of it.Cons- The small rubber bands used to keep this together, break once in awhile, as expected. It's easy to fix though, by using small WHITE or CLEAR rubber bands to replace the broken ones, Colored rubber bands will "bleed" into your tank water and could poison your fish, especially red rubber bands.

Honestly I'm shocked I can't believe it! Defeating tube does not slide into the hole on the top of the trap as shown in the pictures period it is significantly larger than the hole is. Buyer beware!!

I have some big marine fish and this trap works perfectly to capture the big ones. Biggest was my 11" Naso Tang - lure with some food and pull the string when they go in. Door slams shut and fish are caught.None of my fish have panicked or anything and has been a smooth process at catching them when needing to relocate to another tank.easy to assemble and works perfectly

Tried catching a goby and blenny in my 70 gallon salt tank (with live rock). Not happening! Ordered the large it came a couple of days before it was supposed to. Really thick and easy to assemble. Choice of sticking to wall with suction or hang over. Took me a minute to figure out how to drop the trap door. Dumb goby went right in to check it out. I love this as I can catch and contain the fish until I am ready to transfer them back to the store. Thank you Sea Side Aquatics!

worked great. Put my new fish in the fish cage for 3 weeks when I let them out none of the other fish tried to kill them.
