The unit uses wired thermocouple not thermistor probes and these do need calibaration. Is this saved after shutdown ?

Yes calibration is needed but maybe once every 2 months or whenever you feel like it’s off. You can test them by clamping them on an object which will all know the temp to be. Like ice which is 32 degrees. There’s a menu on the gauges for it. Also check out YouTube for a quick 2 minute video about it. Oh an if you rather wireless probes you can go out and add them to this gauge . It’s up to you
