FQTANJU 5 Yards X 6cm Wide Cotton Tassel Fringe in Beige. (6cm)

Bought this fringe for my rug and was delighted with the colour and how it looked in the package. It was a 2-person job to sew it onto the rug but we managed to do it (one person held the rolled-up rug and fed it into the sewing machine as I sewed it. To my HUGE disappointment, this is what the rug fringe looks like after not even 2 months of being used (see attached photo). It's torn and there are places where there is no longer any fringe! The previous rug (that had a fringe already on it) was in the same spot for over 10 years and the fringe was still in tip-top shape when we moved it out of the living room so it wasn't an issue of it being a 'high traffic' area. Clearly, this is a quality issue. This is not to be used on a rug, that's for sure. It's unsightly and in a room where we entertain. I'm not sure what to do now...

When possible and have time on my hands …. I will sew this fringe to repair the carpets with the right needles and thread.
