We haven't started it yet, but I've read through this guide and really like the writing prompts and vocabulary. I'm hoping this will be a good way to practice essay writing for ELA. The prompts cover multiple writing types such as narrative, argumentative, and informative/explanatory. Each chapter section has 2 options for essay writing. I like that the vocabulary is directly from the book and that there is 2 levels of discussion points for written answers depending on student needs. There are a lot of interesting and creative options for each chapter section. I like the content from this company over other literature guides I've purchased. It seems more thought out and better organized. I'll definitely buy our next literature guide from Shell Education -Great Works Review: School - Love this book and all the questions

A Classic for All to Think About
The controversial book “To Kill a Mockingbird” has always been a classic read among students from middle school through college as a story to critique and analyze. This Instructional Guide is absolutely the perfect companion for gathering ideas for instructors to present to their students. With questions, analyzation, vocabulary, and making connection with characters and meanings in the story, the student will have a full understanding of Harper’s reason for writing the book as well as the book being a classic for the opening to begin the story of history. A must read for every person who loves literature and finds compassion for their fellow man and woman. A classic that should remain a lesson for all to think about.
