Is it expensive for what it is? Kinda. But does it get the job done? ... grudgingly, yes. I use one of these on my 11-inch iPad to keep my Apple Pencil from getting lost (pro tip: I turned it inside out because those slippery Apple Pencils like to slide out and get lost, in spite of your best efforts to keep them un-lost). And for the past year, I used another on my planner to keep a pen attached to it at all times. When I lost my planner, which as a grad student felt like losing a limb and I'm still reeling from the trauma, the first thing I realized when I sadly received its replacement was that my planner life was incomplete without a convenient storage pocket for pens. So. Here I am, re-ordering this piece of elastic that's expensive for what it is. Because it got the job done. It didn't fall apart. It did its job well until it was lost to the abyss of lost planners. While I hope against hope to have this NEVER happen again... if it did, I would purchase another one of these overpriced elastic thingies in a (grudging) heartbeat.

This is perfect for my bullet journal! I use it to hold both a pen and a pencil (Sharpie pen and Zebra .5mm mechanical pencil both fit). I also add a small ruler under it and everything stays put.It is not too bulky, so my journal still closes right. Sometimes I use the elastic inside the cover to hold extra sticky notes. I have owned it for about 3 months now and there is no damage on the elastic from normal use of the journal being in my bag or carried along with my laptop.

This product was exactly what I was looking for! I was looking for a way to keep my stylus with my iPad Air 2. I have tried tethering in the past and found it to be cumberson. I came across the Apple Pencil sling. I liked how it was soft on both sides so that I could still manipulate my case freely. And I liked that it could hold different size sylus but stll fold flat when not in use. I thought the price was insanely ridiculous. I was browsing X cross rubberbands and clip on pen holders when I came across this listing. I like that it goes oner the cover only and that it is snug but not so much so that it would buckle. The craftsy small company packaging was a nice touch. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is pretty cool and it’s actually just what I was looking for except I didn’t like the little packet for the pen, I guess it will be pretty convenient for a lot of people I just didn’t like that, also I think it is a way to overpriced for what it is this thing should be worth like four to five dollars. I purchased it For the Louis pocket agenda, from the description it seemed like it was going to be a perfect fit and it looked really nice on the pocketbook but it was a little bit too loose. I would definitely recommend this thing if it was lower in price I’m sure it looks great and works great on books a little bit bigger than what I purchased

I ordered the plain black one. It's terrific. Elastic is sturdy and wide and the pen pocket is roomy enough for my favorite ballpoint (unlike that other brand where the best you can fit is a pencil.) It fits perfectly on my hardbound Moleskin bullet journal. I like it so much I bought another one for a second notebook I keep.

The quality is fine, about as good as you could expect from something like this, stitching is fine and such, elastic like advertised. However it is overall larger than advertised, It definitely will not hold a fisher space bullet pen well either as the pocket is too big for a pen of that size. Add about an inch and a half to the length of the cover you plan on using this with. if your pen has a pocket clip and is standard size it should be fine.

This thing is not pretty and it collects some lint, but it works and I know where my pen is. I liked it so much I got a 2nd.

It worked great. I love having a pen with my journal all the time. I like it better than sticking a tab to the side. I wish there were more colors and styles. The black is meh.
