One of the best purchase of the year
I got this special edition for around 550 rs. But the nib feels at least thrice better than anything you get for this price range. Even if you own much costly pens, I strongly recommend to have a Preppy in your collection. Definitely worth the money and I’m thinking that if a cheap pen from this brand feels this better, how awesome their costly pens would be! Loved it.

Lovely choice for beginners
I write on paper a lot. But for the last several years I've been using roller balls. However, I recently returned to fountain pens - and this is my first. Here were my three main reasons to buy:Firstly, it's Japanese. Secondly, it's my favourite colour. Thirdly, it's a special edition with a Sakura print that I love. But the Preppy is not just good looks. I don't mind the resin body because I use my pens posted. And that gives it a lightness that's helpful for those of us transitioning from roller or ball pens. The pen comes with a cartridge that is easy to fix. However those are only black ink so the option is to use a converter or eyedropper. Platinum converters are double the price of this pen so I will try using eyedropper conversion next. With a cartridge, it sometimes takes a couple of words to get into full flow but then the writing is smooth. It's very easy to write with! The price of this pen is also reasonable. You're getting a quality Japanese instrument after all. This is now my everyday pen & I'm going to get more versions of it.Highly recommend!
