Great quality & functionality, drops right in place
Excellent fit for my OEM replacement speakers, Pioneers. I love the look & the flexibility while still holding its formed shape. Functionally, I can definitely hear the difference in bass response & reduced vibration while delivering that clean direct sound. I feel better about my speakers staying cleaner being less exposed in the panels, because the doors aren’t 100% waterproof (water does channel through the door panels). Very easy to install, just slips right in. No need to cut if you don’t have to, the ends fold nicely & was only necessary to do so for the rear window panel on my car. Good price, I would definitely recommend & buy these for all future speaker installations!

I would buy again
These things actually work!! Make a huge difference in sound. They direct the sound and isolate it as well so it doesn't doesn't resonate through your door. I had mine up quite loud! With the door closed. The vibrations in the door were minimal and your didnt get that awful base throughout the door. But open the doors!! WOW!

Disappointed with the Fit
I was eager to improve the sound quality in my 4Runner with the Recoil SPB65 Foldable Silicone Speaker Baffle Kits. The idea of having a tight seal around my speakers to reduce road noise and enhance sound quality was appealing. The patented silicone design and egg crate foam seemed like a solid solution, and I was looking forward to a noticeable upgrade in my audio experience. However, once I received the baffles and attempted to install them, I quickly ran into issues. While the silicone material felt durable and of high quality, the fit wasn't as universal as advertised. I struggled to get them to align properly with my speaker setup, and even when I managed to secure them, I didn't notice a significant improvement in sound quality. The claim of reducing reverberation and enhancing audio just didn't materialize in my case. To make matters worse, I found that the bottom half of the baffle, which is supposed to be customizable, didn’t really accommodate my speaker’s mounting depth well. I ended up trimming it, but it still didn’t provide the snug fit I expected. I was disappointed because I had high hopes for these baffles, especially with the positive feedback I had seen online. Unfortunately, the timing was not on my side. I couldn’t return them in time, leaving me stuck with a product that didn’t work for my specific setup. It’s frustrating when a product that seems promising doesn’t deliver, especially when it's marketed as being versatile and easy to install. If you're considering the Recoil speaker baffles, I would recommend thoroughly checking their compatibility with your vehicle’s speaker configuration first. While they might work well for some setups, they just didn’t fit mine, and I can't say they lived up to my expectations. Overall, I was left feeling disappointed with my purchase.

Ok. But not as advertised. Read review to understand.
This is a review for my 23 Tundra TRD. So, these do not install as advertised. They don't surround the speaker and encapsulate them like it advertises. They do not "cup" the speaker and reach to the door. I was very close to returning these. I looked at how they sat on the speaker and was pretty upset at first that they didnt do what they said. BUT, I was able to surround the speaker with the product and sit them in the speaker cut out in my door. So.... although they dont surround the speaker they will fit and I DID notice a pretty substantial difference in sound quality. And most of all the BUZZING and RATTLING in my door stopped. Which was ultimately my main worry and reasoning for purchasing this product. Overall im happy with them. Just didnt work like I planned for them to.

Cheap Sound Quality Improvement to my Old Truck.
I installed these in my old Frontier. At first I thought these were snake oil but these actually work pretty good. They make a change in the sound quality due to loosing less sound behind the door panel. They also keep vibrations/rattles down. Honestly, if I had to pick between these, and door treatment I would probably choose these.

quality is real nice people say it won't fit with mounting brackets for vehicles mine did it's just real snug which is what u want a seal to get your money's worth out your speakers

Read this before buying!!!!
First off I would like to say that these are made of a good quality silicone material and can be folded into different positions to accomidate your needs. I used these in scosche speaker adapters for my 2014 Chevy cruze with jbl gto629 6.5" speakers. The speakers sounded nice, but they just needed a seal against the door panel to help direct more sound out of the speaker grill. I started with the front drivers side door speaker and reassembled the door aand decided to do a sound test for comparison. To my shock it made removed almost all bass and made the speaker very quiet and barely audible with exception of the tweeter. I took the door back apart and took out the speaker still mounted into the adapter with this rubber baffle still mounted to look at it and realised the issue. The back side of the rubber baffle cones inward slightly on the back of the speaker, and this is just enough to fully seal against the rear cage of the speaker preventing any air movement so the speaker can work. This was a real shame as when I had originally removed the speaker to do the work there was water on them from a recent rain that had managed to make it past the window seal and I was hoping to use these to protect the speaker as well. These may work with other speakers that have a much shallower cage, but I can't speak to that as this is the only application I have ever used these with. I still used them, but I completely cut off the rear portion and left just the ring portion with the mounting holes and the front part to seal against the speaker grill of the door panel and they worked great for that aspect and directed sound as they should. Bottom line is if the rear section of these didn't bevel inward and was just straight walled they would have worked exactly as intended.

Really brought my new JBL speakers to life.
I bought 4 new JBL 621F speakers for my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek XV to use with my iDoing head unit. The speakers worked on their own but sounded very "distant", and this was my first ever car audio/speaker upgrade that I did on my own. Upon researching options, I came across these on Amazon and saw all the really good reviews, so I decided to buy them. After pulling all the speakers back apart, re-assembling them with these new speaker baffles and re-installing them in the doors, I have to say, my JBL speakers have woken up for the first time. It sounds like the speakers are actually purposefully delivering the sound into the car now, rather than emitting it aimlessly inside the door. I can actually now hear the bass these speakers are meant to produce, and DAMN do they pack a punch! My rear speaker brackets wouldn't quite fit with these baffles out of the box, which required me to trim an inch off of them. It's really handy that these are rubbery silicone, because I was able to trim them down using normal scissors. Once I did that, they worked perfectly in the back seats. Some friendly advice about the foam sound deadeners: The supplied sound-cancelling foam is a nice touch but can be tricky to install. I found that the easiest approach is to have a light shining into the hole, wipe the back metal framing of the inner door with some rubbing alcohol and paper towel, then insert the circular foam cutout by bending it in half with the adhesive on the outside (that way you don't inadvertently stick/glue the foam onto itself, lol). It also really helps to have light shining inside the speaker hole in the door, so you can see where you're going to place it and carefully/deliberately stick the foam exactly where you want it. I messed this up on the 2nd door and it caused me to have to pull it apart and re-insert some extra foam padding that I had lying around. I managed to patch it up and make it work, but it's imperative that you don't screw up the placement of this foam, because once you stick it somewhere-- that's where it stays, and it's a hassle to get off.
