Ascent Native Fuel Micellar Casein Protein Powder - 0.9kg - Chocolate

This protein powder is delicious in a shake. I’ve tried so many and this one doesn’t taste chalky at all. I have a shake every night with just milk ice and vanilla added.

Not an overly sweet flavor system (chocolate). I have not tried the vanilla. I mix it 50/50 with Beverly International UMP which I find to be way too sweet. The combination is just about perfect for me. Use a blender, 10 ice cubes, 10oz cold water, add the protein (1 scoop Beverly UMP +1 scoop Ascent) and blend till smooth. Casein will thicken when blended cold so this makes a nice thick shake...add more water to thin out. I use the same ratio mixed in my morning coffee using a hand blender. Casein in a blender bottle is never going to result in a smooth mixture without clumps.

This protein doesn't have all the extra crap that isn't good for you. warning, it's not sweet, but it's great.

Great tasting casein protein. I make a yogurt with this protein and it’s delicious. Would like it to be a little lower on the pricing since it’s in a bag. Has the right amount of protein.

I use Ascent Whey and decided to try the casein as well. Like the whey, the floor is excellent. I only mix with water in my blender bottle. It's not overly sweetened so no major monk/ stevia after taste. Casein is just thicker and grittier then whey so I use more water and try and drink it fairly quickly. I am not a huge fan of the texture, but I think that's the nature of casein. Shipped quickly from the seller. I would order again and maybe try the vanilla.
