I own three models of the Teslong and one Autel borescopes. The first was the Autel MV400 and like the Teslong scopes it's nice since you can change and/or replace the camera probes (On the Teslong NTS300 and NTS500 and also the Autel MV400 models) if something happens or if you may want a different size/style/length of probe. Keep that in mind IF you are looking at your first Borescopes. Many are with a fixed probe and if something happens or you want a longer or smaller diameter probe you will be buying the entire borescope with that probe UNLESS you buy one that allows you to just change the probe cables (A big plus and saves you $$$). The Teslongs are one of the most user friendly and affordable industrial borescopes you can find with the probe swapping ability. The Autel is also the same quality but the screen on my older MV400 is not as sharp as the Teslongs, but the newer Autels like the MV460 & MV480 & MV500 is the same as the Teslongs as far as quality and High Definition Sharp Displays. The NTS-500 that I purchased came with the 5.5mm probe @ 3m or 9.8ft length. This is the perfect scope if you are doing home maintenance and/or mechanic work. The probe on mt NTS500 is also a double camera probe so you can switch from front to side to both view and see view both on the screen at one time if you decide. The 5.5mm probe and the length will let you cover almost anything you may want or need to view and IF not there is the option for a single camera probe @ 3.9mm with 1m or 3m lengths and/or a triple camera probe @ 8mm and up-to 16+ ft in length if you need. I have purchased MANY borescopes online. 90% will state that they give you a semi-rigid camera probe. You will find out as I did that those lower cost unit NEVER provide you with a probe cable that will allow you to bend the cable and have it hold the shape which is what a real semi-rigid scope probe will allow you to do! Every low-cost borescope I have purchase and then returned, because the so-called semi-rigid probe was exactly like a piece of nylon rope or over cooked spaghetti (Limp and in no way could hold a curve or bend in the cable). Picture having a probe with a camera that is 36" or 10ft long and it's on the end of a piece of rope and you want to see into a wall or into an engine block (You will NOT be able to get the probe camera where you need it). The Teslong and Autel borescopes provide you with true semi-rigid probes that allow you to bend the cable as needed and HOLD the shape, to get the camera where you want/need it. The Teslongs are built to a commercial/industrial level of quality, and I have had both my original Autel and Teslong NTS300 for over 4 years and it is still providing the same performance as the first day I got them. You can look (AS I DID) but if you want a tool that will work as good 5 yrs. or 10 yrs down the road, as the day you bought it, then look at the Teslong or Autel scopes and you will not be unhappy with your decision! The 9.8ft long probes also are the best length, that will allow you to get where you need with the camera. There may be different circumstances where you may want or need a longer/shorter or smaller/larger diameter probe. With the Teslongs and the NTS and some other models, you will have the option to get another probe without paying for another monitor!

I ordered the Teslong NTS500 dual lens borescope with a 5 inch HD IPS screen, front and side view camera, 0.21 inch probe, and the 9.8 ft waterproof semi-rigid cable back in August and have been really impressed with it so far. I have used it for several projects already - one them really required a borescope as there was no other way to do the inspection right. I had to get in a narrow area between the cylinder block and the firewall of my truck to see if I had signs of a coolant leak starting while I was still under warranty. It is a common problem in my model truck and usually would have shown up by now with the time and miles I have. Also, it is an expensive 8 hour job to repair at the dealer, so I wanted to be sure I had no problems (I don’t and probably won’t if it hasn’t started to seep coolant already). The borescope made it easy to feed the probe in through the fender well behind the front wheel, through a small opening in the splash shield, past the exhaust manifold, and on up and over the bellhousing to have a look at the questionable coolant tube. From above you can’t even see the top of the coolant tube no matter what mirrors and other tricks you try, much less the bottom of the tube where you need to look. Separately I ordered the Teslong Dual Lens 3 ft. semi-rigid cable for the NTS300 / NTS500 Endoscope having 6 adjustable lights and a 0.31inch probe with front and side view cameras. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZCTRVPK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). This was the probe I used to inspect my truck. I was impressed by the clarity of the picture on screen and of the quality of the photos I took, the size of the screen itself, and the build quality of this borescope and the 3 ft accessory cable. The side view camera worked really well when I got to the area I needed to see and I could easily switch between the forward facing and side view cameras using the switch mounted at the attaching connector of both cables. Between the 3 foot and 9.8 foot cables I can do most of the types of automotive or household jobs I am usually faced with. For my purposes, these were well worth the money. One thing I wish this unit had is a replaceable battery. Nonetheless, I feel it was an excellent choice for me.
