PEARL IZUMISelect Liner Shorts

I had been looking for bike liner shorts with longer inseams, because the two pairs I have now have shorter inseams and are always riding up my legs. I've worn these new liner shorts twice, once on a mountain bike ride and once on a Lifecycle. Both times they were comfortable, and didn't ride up, so I am very pleased with my purchase, especially since they were on sale.One caveat: I thought that I might be able to wear these liner shorts without a shell, possibly on shorter rides. But they are ventilated with holes and are somewhat see-through, so don't do that unless you want to show off your underwear! The ventilation is, however, a good thing during this very hot summer!

I really like this item. I can wear many different kinds of shorts over it or tights, depending on the weather. I really like the chamois as it is pretty friction free, and there is nothing about it that irritates that sensitive skin. For me, it’s exactly right. I don’t ever feel the need to adjust it while I’m on my ride. Overall great product.

Whenever I have purchased Pearl Izumi in the past, I’ve been very happy. every product has been sized well, with great design details and tough as nails. Not this time. I would never wear these under a sports skirt. The mesh is too sheer. So if you’re looking for something to give you some coverage if you take a spill or are climbing, don’t expect these to provide you with any substantial coverage.In addition, the compression in the two fabrics is different so it kind of gives you a pinched look. Not attractive.

Comfortable liner for underneath my MTB baggies, but seems to run a bit small. I am usually a solid medium, occasionally a small and the mediums in these liners seems pretty tight. I also wish the whole short was in the mesh material instead of part of it being standard lycra. Good enough for me though.

These are perfect for my international bike and barge trip coming up where we’re gonna have a comfort seat, but you still want a little bit of padding.

Fit great and comfortable

I wear a medium in all my Pearl Izumi bike shorts and liners. The medium in this one was way too small. Order a size or two up.

Optisch und vom tragegefühl super kommt die Hose sehr luftig daher. Für die heißen Tage ideal- ist nur weiter zu empfehlen. Super!!!
