We had been looking at a few different places for light fittings to replace them all in our new house. Some of the shops we went to looking at black fittings were between £70 to £400 each for the ones we liked. I saw these on amazon for £30 each and thought we would try one just to see what it's like. Comes in a small box and requires you to put it together but it's much bigger and better quality than I was expecting and it looks premium.For the same looking fitting elsewhere it would be around £70 at least. It's a very bright light but does not blind you either when you turn it on.We were so impressed we bought another 4 and they look fantastic.

Good looking lights but you should be aware!!If you remember the small metal interlocked "gifts" you sometimes find in a Christmas Cracker - the type that require a degree in quantum physics or a good understand of 4 dimensional interlocking relationships - then you will appreciate how difficult it is to weave this thing together.Its a 2 person person job - with some discussion - some argument - some cursing and some luck.All of the light components come "flat packed" in a box - some assembly is required - and eventually you WILL end up with the lights you wanted.If you don't put them together correctly, the arms will certainly swing freely rather than use their interlocking properties to reduce movement. There is a small amount of swing which is to be expected as they are held in place with a single hex nut and a locking washer but nothing a drop of loctite can't fix if you feel the need.The 3 arms will need to be interwoven and this takes a small amount of patience and several attempts.I have 2 of these ceiling lights - The first took 20 mins (with assistance) to work out, but once done it's easier to replicate because you have a 3d model to work from.The instructions are poor and consist of a line drawing of the assembled light and some folks will almost certainly take the easier option and just attach the arms to the ceiling plate in a manner which gets lighting into your selected room - but - you will end up with lights looking nothing like the promotional images.Not the easiest light I have assembled - but if done right - they do look rather good.

Comes in bits each contained in plastic bags. No wiring or assembly instructions are provided. You will have to adjust the position of each arm after assembly simply because they di not slot into place but can turn in any direction. The fixing plate scews to the ceiling and then you align the light fitting with the screw holes in the fixing plate. This can be quite difficult because the screws provided are very small and fiddly . You have to supprt the fiiting with one hand whilst lining up the two holes and then inserting the screw. You wil have to make a few attempts before you succeed. One in place the fitting looks ok .I like the idea if using bulbs that can be replaced when they fail rather than a built in led light strip which when fails the wole fitting will need to be changed. I only give four stars because the idea of holding the thing in place whilst locating the two fixing holes and then inserting a screw in very basic and could be made far easier if a slot into place and turn to lock system was used and then secured by a screw.. Poor design of fixing method looses one star.. its decent value despite the fitting drawbacks.

Very easy to install and sett up

I bought this last November and today it finally went up lol 😆. I found it a bit difficult to initially put it together as I thought the instructions were a bit unclear, but we got there in the end. It's really brightened up my living room. Would definitely buy it again

Lovely light fitting really good quality and look amazing

I chose this to suite the Barley Twist standard and table lamp theme for the lounge.Rather disappointed with having to muddle through very poor assembly instructions. Certainly not the most helpful, but eventually I got the thing into shape.The fabrication is very flimsy and the threaded parts are really rough. You need to take great care not to cross thread the nuts as you assemble the pendent arms. The supplied spanner is useless. You need to supply your own. And don’t over-tighten the nuts, else the rose will buckle. It is a very thin fabrication; take care.Self wiring - do take great care. It is not for the inexperienced. The choc-bloc is just about adequate for the job. Ensure a good Earth connection too.A bit of a trial to get installed and make sure that you use LED lamps. E14 400lm (4 Watt) lamps are best for the job. There are no recommendations on the assembly instructions - you have to trawl through the listed spec on Amazon to get the type of lamp that is needed. Be careful.Good value for what it is, but not a purchase for the inexperienced or the faint-hearted.My recommendation is to seek help from a sparky or the company supply the product fully assembled and wired up.

Looks good, modern, let's plenty of light out, wish the cages that go around the lightbulbs were bigger so the lighbulb doesn't stick out the end but still looks good. Easy to install also
