Found no problem whatsoever with the product and the price is good and quality if fine but I fouled up by not paying attention to discription but will not return as I passed it on to a friend

PLASTIC
I WOULD PREFER THAT THESE BE MADE OF A HEAT-RESISTANT MATERIAL SUCH AS BAKE-O-LITE... BUT INSTEAD THEY ARE MADE OF "NORMAL" PLASTIC (LIKE MOST ALL OTHER PLASTIC KNOBS YOU WILL FIND)... WHICH MEANS THAT THEY WILL PROBABLY MELT, AS HAPPENED TO THE ONE I REPLACED.I USED THIS FOR A ATWOOD/WEDGEWOOD RANGE, TO REPLACE THE OVEN-CONTROL KNOB... AT FIRST I THOUGHT THAT IT DID NOT FIT... TOOK 2ND LOOK, AND APPLIED QUITE A LOT OF FORCE TO THE KNOB (AND ALSO COMPRESSED THE SPLIT/FORKED CONTROL SHAFT) TO FINALLY GET THE KNOB TO MATE... IT'S VERY TIGHT, TO INSTALL BUT WORKING OK

Handy replacement for stove tops
Kit comes with a variety of adapters for different splines. Used my kit to replace stove top dials, with the originals metal plated plastic fading and cracking. Also used to replace dial on an instapot type cooker!
