I've bought the UP matte sleeves before and was not impressed, so I didn't have high hopes for these glossy sleeves, just wanted to be able to shuffle better and not end up with a hand full of blend cards, and also extend the life of my games. But boy, I actually really enjoy these sleeves! The colors on the cards are so much more vibrant compared to the matte sleeves, almost comparable to Dragon Shield's, as far as the front goes. The back is glossy too, but that doesn't bother me, doesn't seem to effect the deck stability. Best of all, they have a smoother shuffle than the matte sleeves. My only wish is that it didn't have the ultra pro stamp on the back of the sleeve, but for the price, I'll deal with it. All in all, they're a good cheap alternative.
