The wider field of view makes observing feel much more immersive, especially on the Moon and brighter deep-sky targets.The optics are sharp, contrast is very good, and the eyepiece feels solid and well made in the hand. It fits perfectly in my new 2in diagonal. Keep in mind though, it is heavier than a 1.25 in eyepiece, so you’ll need to be mindful of how it affects the balance of your OTA especially if it’s on something like a dobsonian. Regardless though, it aligns perfectly on each of my scopes, and makes manual tracking feel very stable. Eye relief is also comfortable, which makes longer observing sessions a lot more enjoyable. I’ve spent more time just casually looking through my telescope since getting this eyepiece because the views are simply more enjoyable and engaging.
