A Bit Tough, But My Dog Loves Them And They’re Very Affordable
These are my current go-to pill pouches for my dog. She’s a medium-sized Aussie Retriever so these pouches are the perfect size for her, though I do need to put 2 pills inside the pouch so it gets a bit tight (I’d rather combine them into one pouch instead of use 2 pouches, to lengthen the lifespan of these treats). I love that the pouches are malleable though, so I’m able to pinch the ends shut to make sure the pills don’t fall out.My dog seems to love the taste of them, and they’re very easy to use/are functional for even larger pills. My ONLY possibly complaint other than the size of the hole (which could be a tad larger), is that the pouches themselves are quite hard. My dog has a strong jaw and teeth so she’s still able to eat the pouch every day, but you can tell by the way she chews it slowly that it’s a little tough. If these pouches were a SMIDGE more soft, I think they would be a lot easier for dogs to eat. This isn’t enough for me to dock a star, though.Otherwise, these are excellent. My dog has had no digestive or stomach problems with these (and she has 2 of them a day), and they’re very affordable (which is arguably the most important aspect of these treats to me).

Makes Pill Time a Breeze! 🐶💊
VetIQ Pill Treats Advanced Formula has been a game-changer for giving my dog his daily meds. The built-in pill tube is super convenient—just pop the tablet in, pinch it closed, and serve. My pup thinks it’s just a tasty chicken-flavored treat and gobbles it right up without hesitation. The size is perfect for most pills, and the smell is appealing enough to get his attention instantly. I also appreciate that it’s made in the USA and doesn’t contain any wheat or artificial junk. It’s a vet-recommended product, and I can see why.One small downside: the texture can be a bit firm, especially in cooler temps, which makes sealing the pill inside a little tricky at times. But warming it in your hands for a few seconds helps a lot.Overall, if you’re tired of the pill battle and want a reliable, tasty solution, these treats are a solid pick. My dog gives them two paws up!

Regret my purchase, wouldn’t recommend.
I was so happy to find a substitute for the Greenies pill pockets, and I had very high hopes for these. However, when I opened the bag it looked like rocks rolling out. These pill treats were hard as rocks, and badly shaped. Most of them split in half when you try to get a pill into them and then you end up trying to pack dry crumbs around the outside of a pill. I found that you can get them moist and rub them in your hands and get them somewhat malleable, but I seriously expected better.Seriously, they just arrive yesterday and I’ve only tried to give them to my dog twice now. He gets three pills in the evening, and three pills in the morning. Unfortunately, between the three pills last night and three pills this morning, I have had to use 10 of the pill treats to get just six pills into him.At first I thought maybe I just received an old bag, but I checked the expiration date and they are good until 2021, so these are in fact fresh products.I realize that these things can become smashed and flattened during handling and shipping, so I’m not as upset with the shape of the pill treats as I am the texture of them. As soon as I fed them to my dog, he started trying to chew on one which was apparently like chewing a piece of concrete he ended up spitting it & the pill out on the floor. It took several attempts to get the pill into him and several wasted pill treats. If I have to use more than one of the pill treats to get my dog to take his medicine, then there is no value there. Two of these is more expensive than a single pill pocket, and I know with the greenies pill pockets my dog is not going to have an issue.I really dislike leaving bad reviews here on Amazon, but it’s clear that I’m not the only one who’s had this problem. If you read other reviews, the texture seems to be a primary concern amongst all reviewer’s. I can’t say that I would recommend these, and would advise anyone to try other products first.I have gone back and ordered some Greenies pill pockets, and will use these pill treats until they arrive. However, once the Greenies are here these are going into the trash.

Don’t listen to the negative reviews!
OK. I never leave reviews, but I had to on these. I was super skeptical because of some bad reviews and almost didn’t order. My Yorkie has a heart murmur, so I just found out he will have to take medicine the rest of his life. The “expensive Pill Pocket treats” are triple the price of these and can definitely add up over time. Are they softer? Sure, but they’re almost gooey. However, these are NOT hard and get the job MORE than done. I’m super happy… AND actually can cut them in half and save even more money. Maybe the people who complained had a hole in their bag, because mine are still very soft. My Yorkie is super happy with his new daily (x2) treat!

Great for capsules
These weren't what I was expecting, I thought they would be soft and moldable but they are not. They are quite firm and you can't seal the ends. That being said an antibiotic capsul fits in there perfectly. They are so firm they're hard to break in half if you're trying to make them last longer with smaller pills. I can't comment on taste but the dogs love them :)

Good procev
Not as good as I had hoped I normally buy the pill pockets to give my dog meds but in a hurry got this instead my dog likes it but it’s not very flexible and doesn’t give much room for large pills

Excellent pill treat my dog loves
These are a must have for my dog! She thinks it’s a treat but her daily allergy pill is not noticeable to her and she looks for this every morning, lol!
User
Not a 'soft' chew.
Hard/dry consistency makes it difficult to hide pills easily and my dog really has to chew them to get them down, which kind of defeats the purpose! He likes the taste, but I'll stick with Pill Pockets or Pill Pouches for meds and use these up as a very hard, chewy treat.
User
Not great
Very stale and cracked when trying to pinch the ends
User
Don’t expect something soft and pliable
These don’t mould around pills and my dog refused to eat them with or without tablets!
User
Lousy pill pockets.
These pill pockets were harder than a rock…you couldn’t even fit the pill into them. Dog had trouble chewing them. Threw them away.
