We used this greenhouse plastic to help secure insulation in our attic, and it worked great. It’s sturdy, high quality, and held everything in place really well. The size was perfect for our project, and it feels like it’ll last a long time. Definitely a smart, affordable solution beyond just gardening!

High temps and intense direct afternoon sun and monsoon rains or even hail make gardening in AZ a science project. 7th year and we have learned best way to control our potatoes environment. Last crop rotted from rain. This is durable. The hoops easy to clip on. Also found on Amazon. Perfect size, durable and easy to just roll down and place inside our garden box giving it greenhouse protection. Water rolls down into the box run off. This garden box cover was very easy to make.i’ll update after monsoon rains. It’s a science project gardening in Arizona. But we love it. So make certain the hoops you use are secure enough for high winds. Had to cut the plastic with plastic for tunnel closure during rainstorms …40 mph winds sent it flying like a parachute with the connectors and rods flying all over the yard. Now secured with stainless steel clamps all 4 corners. They flew high in the sky! Hopefully it’s secure now. I’m happy with this UV greenhouse plastic for my potatoes! 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Clipped this to small hoop arches over lettuce, arugula, chinese cabbage and kale. Just getting our first snow today, so, time will tell. Everything survived several light frosts. So far, so good.

If this is the same product we used before, it will perform well in the Florida sun and storms for several years without cracking or fading. Only time will tell for sure. It is relatively transparent but disperses enough of the light to wash shadows and provide fairly uniform coverage.

The plastic does the job for basic coverage and lets in a good amount of sunlight. It was easy to cut and install over my small backyard greenhouse frame, and it helped protect my plants from light wind and cooler nights. However, the material feels thinner than I expected. While it’s flexible and manageable, it doesn’t seem very heavy-duty. After a short period of use, I noticed some stretching around the staple points, so I’d recommend reinforcing the edges before securing it. I’m also not fully confident it will last through a full season of strong weather. Overall, it’s okay for temporary or mild-climate use, but if you need something more durable and long-term, you might want to consider a thicker option.

I used this clear plastic to make my mini greenhouse outside and it works. I have no space inside the house to raise my seedlings. My seeds started growing even when the thickness of the snow covered greenhouse but the seeds are still growing.

The plastic is very wrinkled after unfolding and has a cloudy film all over it that is hard to remove.
