GREAT book expect for the names they give the garments! *by T***T on May 6, 2015* I've been using this book for my sewing/design students to get a handle on lingerie. It is a really great little book and the patterns are trued up well and well marked. The language and vocabulary isn't in standard American English, so there are words here and there that aren't what you would expect if you are from the US, but whatevs. You have google. I think the only criticism I really have - the only bad thing about this book are the horrible, gross names the garments are given. You feel like you are being groomed by your weird Uncle. For serious. It always brings uncomfortable laughter to the class when the students working from it start reading them aloud. "Sugar Darlin' Sweetheart", "Whisper of Kisses", "Secret Promise", "Delicious at Dusk", and probably the worst: "Hush-a-Bye" all need to be a little less weird. Or maybe my classes need therapy.
