Works great for degassing my wine kits!
I bought this to use with wine kits. For years I've just been degassing by hand, but it's real time consuming. What a difference this attachment has made. I just got a chance to use it for the first time on 2 wine kits I have going. Instead of spending 15 minutes stirring each kit manually , I had both kits degassed in a matter of minutes with this thing. It was amazing seeing all the CO2 instantly foam up to the surface in a matter of seconds. I saw some low-rated reviews saying it does not work, but I don't see how it can't work unless your drill speed is set too low or something. Another one said that it's unbalanced. But I did not find that to be the case at all. I could easily hold it in place while it was spinning at very high speeds. Overall, I think it's kind of expensive at $20 considering it's just a piece of metal, but I can't deny that it works great. Recommended!

Simple, Easy, Works!
I like that this is all one piece. No moving parts, or points of potential failure. It also really works! My first time using it, I whipped my mead into a frenzy, and it foamed over, making a sticky mess. So be warned. This is a good thing though, just be careful. I also recently used it for mixing priming sugar (honey+water) into my bottling bucket. I did this 2 or 3 times throughout the bottling process, to keep the heavier honey from settling to the bottom, which it tends to do. This is a very easy, quick way to mix up even a 6+ gallon batch.

Good product.
This is exactly as described and does a wonderful job. I use my cordless drill with this. I would recommend this degasser.
