Good substitute pump
I bought this pump to replace my Coralife protein skimmer pump which died and are no longer available. With some modification of the insert & output tubing to fit my Coralife skimmer, this pump works great. It does need a Bubble Magus Rock SP Protein Skimmer Pump Venturi Curve that doesn't come with the pump.

Needed a replacement ASAP
I think this is the second one I have replaced within 3 years. I hope this lasts longer. Good replacement for my very old skimmer.

As good if not better than Sicce
I always use bubble magus curve protein skimmers as they have proved the most reliable and affordable in a sea of marketing nonsense for skimmers. Bought one used and the pump died a little less than a year later. I was a little concerned they may actually be low quality pumps especially for the price and the person I bought it from said it was a couple years old. Come to look at the manufacturing date of the pump that went bad and it was 2015! That is almost an 8 year old pump. Will never steer away from these solid protein skimmers.

Worked great for about 3 days barley skimming now it's like it just gave up unit runs still no mechanical issues just very poor skimming abilities was shipped in good condition overall seller is good just bad results with skim

Exact same as original pump
Pump is exactly the same as the original that came with the skimmer save me about $200 from buying a new skimmer swapping the pumps was easy got it done in less than five minutes now up and running again better than before I would recommend this product

Exact replacement for Curve 5 skimmer
Great replacement pump for Bubble Magus skimmer. Exact replacement. Original pump lasted 8 years. Hopefully this one lasts just as long.
