I broke my leg and am completely non-weight-bearing on it while I'm recovering from it for at least 8 weeks. However, I do need to get up and out of bed. The hospital beds were horrible for this due to the rubber texture of their mattress, causing me to sweat a lot and stick to the sheets. That, plus not having the strength after 2 weeks of lying down made it incredibly hard for me to even try and get up. Unfortunately the hospital did not provide any sliding sheets, which delayed my getting up so I bought one of these for myself. It was amazing how easy it was for me to get in and out of bed with this sheet, as it very smoothly allowed me to make the turn to shift my legs to the outside of the bed, which I couldn't make without it. Even now that I'm at home, even though the sheets are much more forgiving and I've become a lot stronger already, I still use it to slide across the bed more easily as I sleep on the far side so my partner does not have to sleep with concern of accidentally hitting my broken leg during sleep. It just makes the travel through the bed a little bit faster and easier.

I have a difficult time getting into the front seats of some vehicles. My right leg has arthritis. This nylon sheet is put down on the car seat first and I back in. After I sit down, its easy for me to swivel my hips and legs up into the car. It has given me the freedom to get to appointments or other outings with less than normal pain. I recommend this item to anyone who needs help swiveling on and out of a chair, car seat or on a bed. It is very slippery so I suggest going slow until you know how your body responds to it.
