Had this a few years now. It's PERFECT for what we needed. My cat had a lot of medical appointments (some out of town) and she loved it. We set it up in the back seat on long trips (1-3 days). She used the litter box every time! Now we use it for our new kitty as a private potty area and it keeps all the litter inside :)WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

This thing is the TRUTH. Amazing quality and very easy to use. I’ve had mine since August and it is currently April. Everything still in pristine condition. I have used it on 13 hour road trips and my cats are so chill in it. It gets a lot of airflow, as well! There are little net windows on each side. I drive a 2015 Nissan and it takes up 3/4 of the back seat so it is LARGE. I have used it to hold the litter box, take them to the vet, and to have lil picnics outside. I was hesitant about buying this at first thinking it would be cheap and be broken by now. I’ve had it for a year now so I figured it was time to do a review. It has held up beautifully for starters! My husband and I live and travel full time in a motorhome and I wanted something safe to put the cats in otherwise they would just hide under a blanket in the bed so this just felt necessary for their safety and this was the safest thing for us and our cats. Before we purchased this carrier we had them in two regular carriers and it’s nice to know that they get to be by each other and be comforting each other while we’re driving. The popup litter box is the best and both of them fit comfortably with the litter box in the carrier! It is also super easy to clean and easiest to clean outside. I love how it folds up completely so we can just store it away when we reach our destination and when we need to use it it just pops back up so it’s super easy to assemble! My cats are fine with it they just don’t like being put in it lol. So that took some time at first they have warmed up to it a lot since then. I used the water bowl carabiner to lock the two zippers together so they don’t get out while we’re driving or just stopped for gas. We also took them back home with us on a 14 hour drive in our car and they did fantastic! It also comes with stakes so if we’re stopping to eat and we eat outside we normally bring them outside with us so they can see everything being as curious as they are. I am so extremely pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who travels with their cats a lot! We even plan on bringing them hiking in the near future and knowing they will be safe the whole car ride is the best feeling.

I will start with what I didn't like - the mesh is very dark, to the point where I couldn't even see my cat if I wasn't trying (for note, she's in the picture). Also, while three of the flaps can open for ventilation or as a very dark window, only one side has a zipper. This meant that I could either have easy access to the food and water, and letting my cat in and out, OR I could have easy access to the litter box. To clean the litter I either had to half crawl into the carrier which was hard or I had to remove everything, and pull the litter box out which was annoying. As a neutral point, the carrier is larger than I had pictured in my head. My cat appreciated having room to move around, but it did make it hard to find space to keep it. My cat also spent time clawing at the mesh windows. She is young, and wasn't able to any damage, but I am concerned that when she gets stronger she may be able to claw her way out one day. But I am generally happy with this product. It folds down nicely, it has good space for the cat when it's popped up, the mat is nice for shaking out loose litter, and the toy and water bowl were nice added bonuses.

This carrier was just what we needed to transport our 2 kitties. The first leg was a 5 hour drive and the second was 6 hours. We did have to fold down the back seating area to accommodate for size. They are not fond of road trips but this carrier made it tolerable for all of us (says the cat parents). Both are a total weight of 22 pounds and there was ample space to lay side by side. We were concerned with the size of the litter box, but it came in handy for the long drive and they had no problem making use of it. We enclosed the litter box with a kitchen size garbage bag for easier cleaning. It did take two of us to carry it from the car. The bottom is not reinforced and with the weight of the litter box, it is awkward to carry. It is a challenge to refold it back into the carry case. Watching the video was helpful. The carrier worked well for us. We made it to our destination with minimal distress.
