I like to put my daughter in clothes that are comfortable so I normally size up anyways, she was 13/14 months (20 lbs) and I bought 18 months. After a wash and dry they both were pretty snug. And the wrists are tight. The quality of the material is nice though!

I used this to decorate with iron-on vinyl for my grandson. It prewashed fine, without shrinkage, and took the design well. It's a good weight, and seemed quite proportional for the size.
