Good Quality and Sturdy Build
We've owned this thing for about 9 months now. I waited to write a review until I saw how well it lasted over time. It gets regular use for pancakes, grilled cheese sandwiches, breakfast sausages, smash burgers and basically anything we could cook on our Blackstone but choose not to when we don't want to deal with inclement weather or don't need all that extra space. It has maintained its non-stick coating and hasn't peeled or flaked (even though I know the kids are using metal utensils on it when I'm not looking). It has two corners opposite each other that are formed into pouring spouts for liquids which comes in handy when you are doing things like searing a steak in melted butter and then want to pour the butter back onto the steak for serving. The manufacturer says it is dishwasher safe, but the manufacturer also doesn't recommend it, so we've only used the soft side of a double sided sponge and dish soap. We also haven't used it in the oven or broiler so I'm not sure how it would do there, but for the things that we have used it for it has been great.

Higher Heat rating is welcome vs others.
It arrived in a box that appeared to be the manufacturer's. It was well protected with cardboard inserts to prevent it from bouncing around. HOWEVER, I find it odd that there is no labeling, directions for first use or any literature at all included. Just a griddle in a box. It seems sturdy, heavier that the OXO I have used before. The handle design is horrible which cost it a star. The ergonomics of the handle are odd, it being V-shaped handle with the well of the V on top which isn't the most comfortable. Thankfully, it is not a pan you use the handle much for other than washing or it might have cost them 2 stars. Such a high quality griddle doesn't deserve a hand cramping handle. It cooks evenly and without the slightest sticking. I like that it is rated a higher heat than the OXO griddle. I have killed several OXO's by getting distracted while heating and the 500 vs 440 rating of the all-clad is welcome.

Got kids? gotta have it!
DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS - THE NON-STICK SURFACE WORKS PERFECTLY - THE GRIDDLE STRETCHES ACROSS 2 BURNERS AND YOU CAN COOK 6 - 8 GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES AT THE SME TIME - PERFECT FOR A CROWD. IT HEATS QUICKL AND EVENLY AND WASHES UP IN A SEC. LOVE ALL-CLAD!

Easy to Use, Non-Stick, Cooks evenly.
Have used this griddle now for some time, and it is one I highly recommend. Follow the instructions on use and care, and this griddle will not warp or damage the surface. It is from a brand I have other cookware, and it is very durable. It fits on my stove top so i can use my gas burners to heat it. The gas flame does discolor the bottom side where it sits over the burners, but I think this is normal and has not affected the griddle in any way or it's performance. I have cooked eggs, bacon, pancakes mostly and I am very pleased with the even heat distribution and cooking ability. The surface is non-stick, and like I said, just follow the use and care instructions and you will have no issues. I cook about 1/2 a pound of bacon and the drippings go into the reservoir that runs around the outer edge. There is a little spout on the corner to easily drain the grease. Some say the usable space is taken up by the small grease valley that runs around the grill, but unless you are cooking HUGE amounts of food at once, you may need to look at a larger option. This works well for 8 pancakes, depending on the size you make, but does well for a family of four. It is about the same size as a table-top electric griddle without the extra weight, electrical cord, and storage space. You can fit it over two burners either front to back or side to side on your stovetop. Just take measurements to ensure coverage on how you want to use it or how it may best fit your stovetop.

Zero Quality Control, Shameful
This product is a disgrace to the All-Clad name. I should have believed the other negative reviews, but I was biased in favor of a trusted brand and mistakenly dismissed the experiences recounted by others. Do not make the same mistake I made. As an avid home cook I have heard many times that All-Clad is the best product money can buy. So I was willing to pay $50 for this square griddle frying pan, expecting it to be a superior product. There is really only one requirement for a pan like this. It should be flat. Sure, it should be durable, versatile, and possess an attractive design. But first and foremost it should be FLAT. This pan is not flat. The All-Clad logo is stamped into the exact middle of the backside of the pan. Right out of the box it was immediately apparent that the stamping process had warped the metal causing the cooking surface to bulge upward at the very center. But I thought it impossible for All-Clad to overlook such a deformity or to sell a product so clearly defective. So, to be certain, I filled the pan with water, at which point there was no mistaking it. The middle of the pan stuck out like a sore thumb. Water slid down the protruding middle and pooled on all sides. I find it impossible to believe that a company that manufactures top of the line cooking products didn’t think to check the flatness of a griddle that they were mass producing. This leads to only one possible conclusion. All-Clad was aware of the defect but chose to sell the pans anyway, hoping that most people would not notice. This is the kind of bait and switch that I expect from lots of companies. But All-Clad is supposed to be the best, a company worth trusting, who’s products last a lifetime when properly cared for. Perhaps something has changed at All-Clad. Maybe their management thinks it will be better for short term profits if they cash in on the company’s long standing good reputation and use it to sell overpriced garbage. I only know one thing for sure; my perception of the All-Clad brand has been irreparably warped, just like this crappy frying pan.
