Nice Kaftan and great color!
This kaftan is exactly as described. It is floor length on me--I'm 5'2"--and is not see-through. That is important to me.I purchased the purple and the colors are vibrant. My little one noticed the combination of purple and green and said it was a beautiful look. She's a fashionista! :)It is big, as expected. One size doesn't always fit everyone, but this is supposed to be loose and flowy and it is.I would purchase another.

Bought this as gift for mom...
but Dad put it on...now it's his favorite outfit to wear around the neighborhood. He's worn it almost every day since September and I must say it's very durable. I've machine washed it many times it has not fallen apart or faded yet. Definitely ordering more.

I love this. It is very comfy and beautiful
I love this. It is very comfy and beautiful. Nice Fabric. It said it ran small, so I upped my size. Im normally a 16-18 and I got the 20-24 and it fits perfect. I also was worried about the length, Im 5'3 1/2" and it goes just to my ankles. Very Happy with this purchase will buy another one.!

DRESSES FROM HEAVEN
I searched long and hard for these, and what a Treasure of a find they were!! I bought 6 of these Luxury Dresses and LOVE each one of them!!! They are long, but I am short, so to compensate I wear sandals with a nice wedge heel, and I also tight a knot in the front off the dresses to prevent me from stepping on them. They are TO DIE FOR!!! So comfortable, silky smooth, vibrant colors, lots of room and they KEEP ME COOL!!!! These dresses are a MUST HAVE for any of my Menopausal Sisters!!! What is also great is that they are machine washable and dry-able as long as they are washed in the gentle cycle with cold water washing detergent, and dry them for just a few minutes on the lowest setting. No wrinkles at all! I highly recommend these dresses: They make me look and feel like a Queen!

Beware of static and sizing, but definitely a no-regret purchase.
I very obviously gained weight this year. I normally wear dresses throughout the summer, even when looking lean and fit. I say it's the coolest way to be, because it's like you're wearing a nightgown. I didn't want to buy new clothes, but I couldn't hide forever rather than doing small errands.Enter Amazon. I checked on a whim and I'm glad I did. While this is perfect for taking the dog out, it's also perfect for running out to get dog food. You can dress it up with a loose belt or tie, a hat, some jewellery, fancy sandals, whatever. I must admit to being a bit self-conscious eventually and feeling as though I looked like Mrs. Roper from Three's Company, but I wasn't terrified of catching my reflection in a window.Sizing comes up in reviews. I find it difficult when people mention sizes because all labels seem to be different, as do people, as do the media. For example, Deborah Messing said she was a size 8 when she started Will & Grace. I'm taller than she is and I never looked like that at a 4 or 6. So, since I sew, I bought the largest size possible just to be safe because I also have busty issues. Because of the pattern, I now know I can sew down the inside of the "border" where the smaller sizes are likely seamed, and I'm safe. I will also take the leg slit up a bit higher. It is generously sized, but be aware things can change when you sit down, if you carry weight around your middle. I don't mind it looking big right now, even though others wouldn't dare.A note on wind and static: if you do use this to venture out on casual outings, be aware that even in high humidity, this fabric produces some serious body-hugging static. It's not a natural fibre, which I normally don't stray from, but it will get me through the rest of the hot days, and then for hanging out at home, too. I saw a couple reviews about stray threads at the bottom after washing, and I had the same thing, though not many. Normally, I air dry stuff, but said what the heck, and threw these in the dryer. No problem at all.I do not regret this purchase. From a distance, it looks as though it's of high quality. Only when you're up close do you see it for what it is (not a $500 dress). As for sheerness, I wouldn't say you could use the fabric for room-darkening drapes, and sometimes it's obvious that I have legs, but from a very self-conscious person, I find I do not worry about it.

Feels nice
Arrived sooner than expected. I ordered the next size up for comfort. This kaftan feels silky-smooth to the touch and very comfortable to wear after a bath or shower. Good length and very well stitched (I checked all seams after reading some of the earlier reviews) the colours are nicer than in the actual photo. One thing I will say, is the packaging could be better, it arrived in just a clear plastic bag. Over-all a very nice comfortable kaftan at a very good price.

Super soft material.
Such good value for the money. The material is soft & feels really great. I am size 18 to 20 & thought it would be too big but the way the materials hangs it didn’t look oversized.

lovely flowing bathing suit coverup
Ok, curvy ladies this review is for you. I bought the larger sized kaftan to be used as a bathing suit coverup. This kaftan is made from a rectangular piece of fabric so when it is sewn together at body width, creates a ruffle of fabric going down the outside edges. Now, I'm not really keen on adding any (more) width at the hips and it felt a bit tent-like yet confining so at first I wasn't impressed. However, all that excess fabric had potential, so I decided to open up the side seams to the natural waist line and now I LOVE this kaftan. It feels exotic, flowy, comfortable and just a bit sexy. There is a lot of fabric here so it doesn't really open up to reveal the legs (maybe it would if the wind caught it) and is still a great coverup but it moves with me and around me instead of "on" me. This is a five minute job that only needs pointy scissors or a seam ripper from the dollar store and a needle and thread to secure the seam at the desired point.

Great in the heat
Cool alternative to dressing gown, beach cover up & pyjamas.
