will hand-clean and pack tight on international travel
Excellent pants. I will be buying more in the future. These are a nice color, have deep sipper pockets and a nice belt that is detachable and will work on other pants I also bought. I got these specifically for an international trip and needed a pair of pants I could count is "dressy-ish" and wash in a sink if needed, and would pack small. These pack very small with just a tight roll like you'd do for a sleeping bag - about the size of 20 sheets of 8x11 paper, and that is without putting them into a air pumped compression bag. They are comfortable to wear all day because they breathe nicely. They are also very light weight. These make a very slight noise when I walk, like a lot of waterproof pants do, but it is not bad or distracting. noise. They function well for multiple uses I have intended. Flat stitching, comfortable, will hand-clean and pack tight on international travel, but will also function stateside and hold up in a washing machine with a low-temp dry or hang to dry. Will be buying a few other colors.

BETTER THAN WHAT I EXPECTED !!!!
Granted, I was reluctant to order these pants since I don't like to buy pants online made in China due to their sizing. However, I am glad I read the reviews and ordered size 30. I now wear size 30 after loosing some weight. I tried the pants and they fit perfectly due to the elastic band around the waist. But the belt is useless since the buckle doesn't hook up at all. As might as well use one of my belts. The design, the size and location of the pockets are a real plus ! I am tired of the generic Cargo pants with huge pockets with flaps a la circa 1970. The spandex/nylon great combo for hicking, altho I bought these pants for my upcoming trip abroad. I don't know about the UPF5O, I ordered 2 pairs because I didn't want to take a chance of being out of stock . The only CON is that I need to hem the pants bc they are too long

Pretty nice. Met my expectations.
These pants met my expectations. Material is light and stretchy, feels good. Comfortable. Fits like expected. Good deal for the price. The "belt" is OK, but it's honestly not great. But I expected that from the pictures. I will probably use it as a strap for something, but I will use a better, proper belt. I didn't buy it for the belt. I bought for the pants. And they are nice. There's nicer pants out there, but you'll pay more. For what you pay these are pretty good and comfortable. No disappointment here.

Well Made Light Weight Hiking Pants!
My main concern when I first purchased theses hiking pants was the quality of the stitching and the weight of the material. I inspected the zippers and they are of a higher quality than I expected. The actual construction of the pants is better than I expected with no loose threads or unfinished material interfaces. So, I've been wearing these consistently since I purchased them and they are holding up really well! I actually purchased another pair to have as a back up. They wick water nicely and dry quickly. They have 6 zippered pockets which are very handy to store your keys/phone/etc. The belt is just ok but I'd recommend using your own. Lastly, these are not made to keep you warm by any means. The material is very light weight (but durable) and it's great for everyday wearing in normal conditions. I'm sure they'll be just perfect for summer hikes as well. I'd recommend this product and I plan on purchasing another pair as they come in an assortment of different colors.

Perfect Travel Pants
I've finally found the perfect travel pants for warm/hot weather destinations. After trying my first pair for a week I bought a second pair. What I like... They're cool and comfortable in hot humid weather. All the pockets zip, which is great for those crowded buses and markets when you worry about pickpockets. And unlike some similar products that come in S, M, L, etc, these come in actual waist/length sizes. My 34Wx30L fit me perfectly. I got Lakeblue and Brown. While I got these for everyday use, with the right shirt the Lakeblue ones would work for a semi-dressy occasion. Now if I could just find something similar with all zipper pockets but made with heavier fabric for cold weather destinations.

Decent value, construction could be better.
I've purchased a few pair of these. For the price, these are pretty hard to beat for a lightweight pair of pants, but they do have some glaring flaws. They fit me well, and look great and seem to be pretty stain resistant. They're really comfortable and make a great lightweight pant in the summertime. If you toss on a base layer underneath they're good for cooler temps as well. The only real complaint I have (and it's pretty significant) is that there is no gusset in the crotch. After a year or two of frequent wear, the stitching in the crotch splits. If you have a sewing machine, it's not that difficult to stitch it back up with some higher quality thread, but ideally they should be constructed with a gusset in the crotch, to not strain the stitching in the first place. I really like the material they're constructed from, and overall, for $30, you get what you get. It would be nice if the manufacturers would update the design and gusset the crotch though. I would love to be able to find the same material and color match it, to be able to add my own gusset when they split, instead of just stitching it back up; but ideally, the manufacturer should update the design to add that small feature.

Great pants for hotter climate and travel
I like to trave light and these pants are perfect. Waterproof and zippered pockets. My area has lots of mosquitoes during the summer and I have not worn shorts in the last 5 years. These pants feel cool, and light and they are true to size. I have already purchased different colors. The only thing I didn't care for is the dangling zipper pulls, but they are very easy to remove.

Well at S$46 here in Singapore i can get a decent pair of tailored pants for the office. So for hiking it is a tad expensive. However if is quite comfortable and good to wear.

The pants just arrived. I am nominally 36" waist, but these pants have elastic, plus flex in the cloth. It feels about 2 inches to big. Aside from that the pockets are in awkward positions (at first glance.

Passt perfekt.
