Super easy to install and maintain plus great customer service. I purchased additional as gifts. Tried other brands and there is no comparison. Aura should be the generic name in digital picture frames.

I got this for the wife for Christmas. It has beautiful quality and simple setup. I thought about getting one also for the in laws and have them all linked together but wasn't sure how easy the "gift setup" would be. Still not totally sure but we plan on getting another one. App is very easy to use. Uploading pictures takes less than 10 seconds to go from selecting add to seeing pictures on screen. You can crop the picture easily. Portrait pictures do have the black sides, unless you crop. My only complaint is the app does automatically center the pictures but some are literally the center and cuts off heads, instead of a smarter type where it tries to keep the people in the picture centered or whatever your trying to take a picture with. I have had to crop the picture and fix it, it's not hard just annoying when your uploading a ton of pictures. All in all great quality and even has a power saver when the lights are off it goes off. Not obnoxiously bright either. I would totally recommend it to others, like I said we are getting another for the in laws to easily see our uploads.

This frame is highly recommended on several review sites so I decided to try it first when looking for an electronic frame. I love it! It is so easy to work with and add and remove pics. Vivid display, even with poor quality photos. Self adjusts sizes or you can manually do it. This has been a great addition to my den and i am enjoying seeing photos i have not seen in years as it scrolls through.

Purchased a frame as a gift for relative in Mexico. She loved it! I can upload infinite pictures & videos to share with her. Bought second frame a year later for my wife. She loves it too. Single login for both devices, easy to setup and manage - can set timer for hours of operation too. That said, shortly after purchasing the second frame, the first quit working (about 1.5 years after purchase). Customer service agents replaced the frame at no cost to me. A rarity these days. They were very professional, personable and efficient. I am extremely happy with the frames and the company. Highly recommended ;-)

We purchased the Skylight and the Mason to compare. The Skylight had a larger screen, but lower resolution. App was a little clunky, the way you add photos in the Skylight app leaves a little to be desired. The Mason on the other hand had a great app, adding photos was very intuitive. The Mason had a noticeably better resolution than the Skylight, although it is about one inch smaller. The size difference was not a big deal for us, but is noticeable. We prefer the Mason frame aesthetically to the Skylight. The Mason was a close win for us with one issue which swayed us towards the Skylight in the end. The issue was screen brightness. On the Skylight, the screen was adequately bright in the daytime. The Mason however has a automatic brightness feature which adjusts to ambient light conditions. While this is a nice feature which will turn the frame off when the lights are out, in our opinion the auto light brightness was just too low in daytime conditions. Shining a flashlight at the frame produced a brightness that we preferred. Also factoring in to our decision was the fact that this was a present for my parents. We are in our late 30's, and found the brightness to be borderline. I will say it is more like a photo, however when you place the frame side by side with the brighter Skylight, it's hard not to desire more brightness. You feel relaxed looking at the Skylight, the Mason is a little of a strain. If I was keeping this frame for myself, I might have gone with the Mason given the better aesthetics of the frame, better app design and significantly better resolution. However, I would still have preferred the ability to turn up the brightness through software even for my eyes. Maybe in the future Aura will add this feature to the app. As it stands, neither frame - surprisingly - has a brightness adjustment.

This frame is worth every penny! The quality of the picture/screen is amazing. It looks like an actual photograph. What I liked the most was the Aura app. It allowed you to crop the photo and either zoom in or zoom out to get just what you wanted to show on the frame. The cropping area is a rectangle mimicking the screen size. Other digital frame apps have a circle that you place in the center of what you would like to show, but that doesn't give you as much control over what appears on the screen. If you shrink a picture to fit, it will show black screen where there is no picture. I like this better than the matching blur that the other photo frames use. The app also has a "show now" button that allows you to see the picture right after you crop it. The instructions are comprehensive and easy to follow, and the Mason frame is stunning. I wish they made larger screen options as this screen is fairly small, and in a large room, you cannot see the picture too well. Also, if you are looking for a frame that allows you to make play lists, I did not see an option for that with this frame. I am returning the frame due to the small size, but I hope they make a 13 or 15 inch screen size in the future because after returning 3 other frames for poor picture quality or clunky cropping ability, this one was by far the best!

Arrived early….Brilliant product ! We bought it for our mothers 90th birthday, the family upload photos directly and constantly, she absolutely loves it !
