Our apartment has really crappy windows, they're those metal ones that don't even seal when they close, you can always feel a draft coming from under them, there's 8 windows in our apartment like this, and our heating costs were threw the roof this winter. Obviously, this is because the heater has to run nonstop because all the heat escapes out the windows so we never get the apartment to a comfortable zone. If this sounds familiar, GET THIS PRODUCT! We needed two 30YD rolls for our windows, but it is super easy to use, same as just taping up anything, you can re-adjust the tape while putting it on as it's really stretchy and has a super strong adhesive, once it's on it stays on, it's a nice thickness, and after taping up 4 of the windows in a corner of our living room, the drafts were gone!! We can walk near our windows now without getting colder, and that's a massive improvement. Even now the last few days the apartment actually heats up in the sun now and retains the heat, instead of ALWAYS being freezing unless the heats on. Save yourself potentially a lot of money on heating and buy this cheap, quick and effect product!

This product worked very well . Was easy to use, was the perfect width . . I have not removed it . I would buy this item again

We had window ac units that were inserted improperly and were struggling with rain and bugs coming through. I bought this tape to assist with this issue. After heavy application, I do mean we layered up and basically built a wall around the units. I was pleased to find it kept out 90% of the bugs and the rain. It held on for about 5 months, with very little modification and reapplications. It was a great solution to a short term fix. Taking off the tape is a pain, the adhesive is very strong and can take up paint and leaves residual goo on items. Scrubbing and wiping it helps very little. I wouldn’t use this to help with thermal regulation, I’d use for a pure physical blockade. For reference we used most of a two pack of this stuff for two window units. Depending on your situation I’d say buy a roll per window.

I used this on a couple of older windows that always leak a little cold air, and it actually helped more than I expected. The tape is pretty transparant, doesn’t look messy, and it goes on smooth if you take your time. Repeat, you MUST TAKE YOUR TIME. I also liked that it didn’t leave gunk behind when I had to adjust a section so thats a huge plus there. For basic draft control, it does its job without turning into a headache. The only thing keeping it from a full five stars is that the isolatoin could be a bit stronger on really windy days. It still helps, just not as much as a full plastic window kit. But for quick sealing or small gaps, it’s great. Overall, it’s a solid option that adheres well and doesn’t trash your window frames. Good price when on sale. I think I'd pay a little extra for window film next time.

We needed this to seal around our portable AC's in our windows. Its worked really well so far! I was able to do 3 windows and layer a bit, its crazy sticky so not looking forward to removal but thats a problem for another day lol. Works wayyyy better than my painters tape I was using haha! I recommend for simple uses like mine:)

I live on a busy street and the traffic noise coming through my front windows was really getting to me. Bought this tape mostly skeptical, figured it'd help a little but probably not much. Wrong. Put it on two windows and could tell the difference the same day. Like, immediately. That's actually why I'm writing this only two days after getting it — I don't usually bother reviewing something that fast but it genuinely surprised me. Application was dead simple. Sticks right away, no fighting with it, no peeling edges. And once it's up it's barely noticable — had to look twice to remind myself I'd even put something there. Only been a couple days so I can't say how it holds up long term, but so far it's doing exactly what I needed it to do. For a busy street house this thing is worth trying.

Works....BUT mess if you need to remove. This works as intended on a couple of our old windows for winter. BUT, come spring this has been a MESS to remove.....left windows sticky....we have spent DAYS of cleaning off....with Mineral Spirits, Nail polish remover, Goop Off - you name it. We open our windows in good weaher...so we will NEVER use again. We are still finding sticky spots. Not worth it......Use heavy curtains is best unless you are one to never open your windows for fresh air.

Extremely durable and super sticky! Great for hot days. Also useful for installing air conditioners and the roll is huge for the price.

I purchased this due to the draught coming through the windows and surrounding edges , very easy to apply and sticks well. Make sure you line it up correctly as the glue is very strong. It’s definitely made a difference so I’m glad I made the purchase

excellent vraiment. Si les mousses ne suffisent pas pour isoler une fenêtre, cette bande semble l'ultime recours. Colle étonnement bien sur bois, plastique, pierre. Plus grand chose ne passe pour l'instant. Faut voir si cela tient comme cela pendant des semaines, alors je peux qualifier cela de produit miracle pour isoler , couper net les courants d'air. Pas trop cher, en plus

Compré esta cinta adhesiva aislante transparente porque por el marco de una de las ventanas del salón entraban muchas corrientes de aire, debido a la mala calidad del cerramiento y a la falta de puente térmico. En invierno se notaba bastante y hacía que la calefacción se encendiera con más frecuencia. Tras comparar varias opciones, me decidí por esta cinta porque ofrece más metros y mayor ancho que otras marcas por un precio más ajustado, algo importante si tienes varias ventanas o marcos que sellar. La colocación es muy sencilla. El adhesivo es fuerte, pero durante la instalación permite despegar y recolocar ligeramente si te equivocas, lo que ayuda a dejarla bien alineada sin estropearla. Una vez colocada correctamente, queda bien fijada. Después de varias semanas de uso, las corrientes de aire han desaparecido. El cambio se nota claramente en el confort del salón y también en que la calefacción entra menos tiempo, algo que se agradece en el día a día. En cuanto a la resistencia, ha habido días de mucho frío con condensación en la ventana, y la cinta no se ha despegado ni lo más mínimo, ni siquiera al pasar una bayeta para secar el agua. En ese aspecto, muy buen resultado. El material tiene buen grosor y, al ser transparente, apenas se nota visualmente una vez colocada, incluso sobre marcos claros, lo cual es un punto muy positivo. En resumen, es una solución sencilla, económica y eficaz para mejorar el aislamiento de ventanas sin obras. Muy contento con la compra.

If you don't mind cleaning over where the tape was for 1 hour after removing the tape this is fine. I don't know why but a heavy residue was left and incredibly difficult to clean. This is definitely not why we bought this product. I'm not sure if there are many limitations on how long you can leave the product on for?

Excellent!! I have many drafty windows in my house and used this , along with our very cold Alberta winters, this product amazing stopped the drafting on all my windows!! I even put a layer around my fireplace!! I don’t use it anymore so no risk of a fire, nor does it stick to brick very well,, but it works good enough for me, at least I will get some protection for my wood burning fireplace, as the drafting on the fireplace is quite strong,, it works great, and I’m very satisfied!!!!
