I recently purchased these pens and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations! I usually use Gel pens and I was skeptical a bit about using Ballpoint pens, however, the lead and build quality of this pen is exceptional.Sleek design and smooth movement, effortlessly translating my thoughts and ideas onto the page. Despite my frequent use, the pen shows no signs of wear and tear. It is made of high quality materials used in its construction.I would highly recommend these Bic pens to anyone in need of high-quality writing. They are durable and well made. My kids use them too.

These are all the newer X-tra Smooth -- which is OK with me. I ordered these because they were a couple cents less than the ones advertised as X-tra Smooth. I ordered 9 packages of these and one of the X-tra Smooth - just to compare. All boxes are the same and all imported from Mexico (which is OK with me). The photo of the Cristol Original says France.These were purchased for School Kits (church mission project). I deducted one star because of the faulty advertising. Are Critol originals even still being made? Seems like everyone is getting the newer X-tra smooth when they order these.

There is nothing to dislike. Different colors--check. Perfect ballpoint--check. Writes smoothly with no breaks--check. That's just how it is. Easy five star review.

Maybe it's because I'm old but I still like the cheapo Bic pens that we had 50 years ago. The original Bic like I bought here. They always write. The ink usually lasts until the very end. They are easy to grip. They're still around because they are good.
