I actually returned this item. It was very attractive, but I thought it would be made made of glass. That was my fault for not reading through the description, as it clearly states that it is lucite. It is engraved, which is also a nice feature, but I thought it was rather expensive for a small plastic paperweight. I returned it and bought something else.
