There are 2 each of 6 different grits starting with 80 grit. I think they currently sell for $6.87 for an assortment. I’ve used these discs on my DeWalt sander (8 holes) with no negative impact on the pad. I see no reason it would make the pad degrade any more than a typical disc would. They seem like good quality, long lasting and I'd prefer to pay the extra for the quality. I use them on a pad saver on a random orbital sander with a vacuum and this works well.
