Purchasing this kit saved me from replacing the entire Tiffany lamp. The switch fit perfectly, the cord was easy to install. Even extra parts were provided depending on lamp size. Directions were generic, so it did take me a few reads to understand. All the parts were durable and made with safety in mind. If you have expensive lamps, this is cheaper than replacement or taking to the lamp repair shop. Color options were available for the best match.

I used this kit to repair an old floor lamp that I had. It was perfect for the job. No instructions come with this kit so pay attention to how the old one is put together when taking it apart. I had to use some of the old parts because the kit parts did not fit the old lamp but it all came together nicely. The problem with my old lamp was the old socket and cord and the new ones in the kit fit perfectly. Had i known that first, I wouldn't have needed to buy the whole kit, but live and learn. Anyway, this is a good kit to use to restore an old lamp and bring it back to life. I would recommend it.

Great little kit!! It worked very well on a 60 year old little lamp. Every lamp is a little different. You might need to use all the parts, and maybe not. I did not on mine. The part the hold the bulb - if it comes assembled all in one piece, do remove the bottom part so you can thread the wire into that part. It might be a little stubborn to separate, but it does come off.

No complaints and it was easy to repair an old lamp.

Ordered several of these kits to repair or rewire old lamps. I can rewire pretty quickly with this kit - usually done in less than 30 minutes from gathering my tools. I do not always need every piece, but everything I need is there and the pieces have always fit. I have used these kits to repair or rewire several brass lamps, 2 large multi-piece glass lamps, and an apothecary lamp. They are simple, a good value for the money and come in colors that look great with my lamps.
