Yes, it is compatible with any software on Microsoft Windows that responds to arrow keys. If you get the desired effect on your software when you press the up/down or left/right arrow keys, then it will work fine with the pedal since it emits the same keys (default: up/down arrow).

I’m a drummer and I need to have the ability to plug in a roland pad to hit with a stick for page turns. Does this unit have that capability?

Hi. Not sure I understand your need. This is a foot pedal. Tap with your foot to turn the page. I don't think hitting it with a stick will work. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Will this work with the foxit pdf reader on an ipad?

The pedal works by sending out keypresses (like left/right arrow, PgUp/PgDn) to the connected device. It is up to the app to interpret these keys presses as triggers to do a task (e.g. turn a page, or scroll down). Almost all PDF readers accept these types of keypresses, including foxit.

I want to advance to songs in a playlist via footpedal. Will this work with Music and Playlists for that purpose?
