Arctic Christmas: A Very Cool Pop-Up Book

This is a very cute book and generally very well done in terms of the pop-up mechanics.There are just a few small issues, though. First, the text is often at least partly covered by the "popped up" parts, so you sometimes have to tilt the book around a bit to be able to read it. Second, there is at least one page which you have to be extremely careful when turning: on the third spread, be sure that the owl retracts behind the whale, not in front of it. In our book the apparently strong-willed owl kept wanting to fly in front of the whale, and if you close the page that way things will get all bent out of shape. Don't let this pop-up disaster happen to you; just be sure you are very careful to let things fall back into their proper places when you turn pages.That aside, this book is a fun read, as are the others by these authors.

Ordered for a 6 and 4 year old. When the book was closed i heard "this is boring!" Then the 6 year old opened it and heard cheers of excitmemt as they saw the pages. Beautiful book!

Bought this gift for my nephew and nieces. Great book, seems durable for a pop up book. Some of the tabs are hard to pull out but that’s because it’s new. Would recommend!

Nice pop up book for my daughter, however you will probably get tripped up on the word choice and combinations in here.

Story is so so but the pop up art is awesome!! My 3 year old Grandson loves it.
