Sparthos Knee Brace for Women & Men - Meniscus Tear Support - Gray-L

This is a great item for the price! My knew was very sore from hyperextension while sleeping on my back on a very weak mattress where my hips sank in deep to the mattress and caused my relaxed knee to hyperextend while I slept and thus irritated the tendons around the front of my knee.... (a real thing)...I could hardly walk when the brace arrived and instantly I could put weight on it and it made walking tolerable and I think because it kept my knee stabilized as I slept for a few days that it allowed my knee to heal. The support straps a very good and low for a wide range of support. A definite recommend. Do not get frustrated with the straps as there are three extra straps after you put the brac on that add support. Once you get it on it is very comfortable and helps to stabilize the joping very well and the hinges move easily and keep the side to side motion to a minimum.

After complex menisci tears, I was provided the elastic band knee brace which caused my ankles to swell as it was too tight. I purchased this one for support, but then was told by orthopedist to use it minimally for now as I strengthen the leg muscles to avoid the surgery. I'm glad to have it on hand though to use if/when I have any other incidents with either knee which impacts my mobility. It is a very good, adjustable and supportive knee brace.

Overall I really like the knee braces. I'm 40 years old and have a rare form of Dwarfism and I have severe osteoarthritis in both knees and need them replaced so until I get the surgery I decided to try them. I've been wearing them for work each day and they have definitely helped with keeping my knees in place. The only cons I have is that they are not a breathable as I'd like and the inside bracket on both hurt at first on the inside of the knee after tightening the straps, but after a couple of minutes and walking it doesn't hurt or bother my knees. The fit is really good as well and fairly simple to adjust. Would recommend these for people with bad knees and knees that are unstable.

I got the XXL, I'm a 275lbs man. The straps are plenty big to stretch all the way around my leg. And there's a lot of straps, so it holds it securely, i've seen other ones slide up and down. This is not a tight sleeve. This totally opens up so you can wrap it correctly. I chose to wear it over the top of my sweats.As pictured in the video, so that tells you there's plenty of room to wrap it around my leg. If I wanted to go on bare skin, i could, I just don't want to sweat all day because there's something wrapped around my leg. At least if i'm sweating, it'll go into my sweatpants and wick away. The stabilizer bars were already in place, and I didn't want to open it up, just to look at them. That's usually the moment you messed something up.When it was preset at the factory and then you take it apart, just to look at it. The pain instantly subsided once it was around my leg. I'm able to walk and jump and step off high curbs without buckling and falling on the ground. I'm planning to get a few months out of this and then I'll replace it with another as needed. I'm pretty sure the straps that everything will wear down as I use it and that's expected. Whilst wearing it over the top on my sweats, it hasn't slipped. I adjusted the straps correctly, and it hasn't moved.Even though my sweats move, it doesn't. I looked at other ones I looked at once that had little Springs in them. I don't have Springs in me. I have joints, and this one had a joint that looked like it worked like my leg. Therefore I purchased it and i'm not regretting it, if I could give it a 500 stars, I would!

Had to return because it was too big and they didn’t have my size in stock. Item looked to be well made and worth the money.

I purchased this because it was a best seller and affordable and will only need for another 3 months before surgery. I was disappointed to see how it was packaged. No protective plastic over the brace and the hinge covering material was frayed. However, it does work and serves it's purpose. Amazon do better.

I, tore my miscus and chipped my tibia plateau, in a fall. The hospital supplied me with a sleeve for my leg, stating it would take a minimum of 3 months to heal. (There goes my dancing shoes!). I just turned 71! The sleeve wasn't working, kept slipping down on my leg. Tried to find a different sleeve...no luck! I went on Amazon, did my search, and decided on the shorter, Spartans Hinged Knee Brace! Wow! WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It fit perfectly, and was comfortable to wear. I had wore the hospital brace for 8 days...total discomfort! What a difference a good brace can make! Within just a couple of days, I was able to move around, with little to no pain! I was able to cut back on my pain meds, and function at home, without my walker, using crutches instead! By the 3rd week, I can move in my home without either implement!

Good brace. Using it for a torn meniscus and it does a decent job of supporting and limiting motion. The hinge on the medial part (using it on left knee) slides a bit so it needs to be pushed back in but it’s simple and not a big issue. Overall, it stays in place well and improves stability. For $20, this is a very cost effective solution.

Ive used it for 5 days now. No complaints. I ordered the xxxl to be safe and while it is too big, I just tighten the straps accordingly. It bunches a bit but not a big deal. Still tight enough. I had the groin to ankle monstrosity given me by hospital and it was too much lol. Great support sure but lurching about with that on tryna walk the dog...perhaps not. This brace is good support. The knee doesn't hurt as bad after the walk or mowing the lawn etc. Impressed at the quality for the price. Expected it to be cheaper quality really.

La rodillera está muy buena, con calidad y precio , yo pedí una mediana pero me quedo un poco grande, y no se sujeta correctamente la rodilla, tenía que haber escogido una talla más pequeña 😟
