Great price for a great product
I got these on sale, and they’re not only a STEAL, but also super great quality. It fits my face perfectly and I have a smaller face. The seal is good, the interior bridge that sits on my nose is super super comfortable and the rubber straps don’t make me feel like my head is going to pop. Although very comfortable, it does have a strong chemical smell. But it’s better than smelling stinky people and breathing in their illnesses. You’ll become nose blind eventually, if it’s really bothers you, they’re all individually wrapped so perhaps you should open them and let them air out a little so the smell goes away. I have a sensitive nose and it doesn’t bother me as much as the smell of other people.

Quality product!! ***Highly Recommend***
Item is as described. Fits very snug but doesn't feel restricting or uncomfortable imo. I use these because I have yet to find anything comparable to the quality of the seal around the face that I get with these. After trying all kinds of masks, these imo are the best all around N95 Mask (not to be confused with the kn95 mask, kn95 doesn't provide even half of the protection that an actual N95 does) that i could find for this price, or at all honestly. I won't buy anything else. When you put on a good N95, you'll know it.

best fitting, best sealing, most comfortable masks we've tried
Excellent design for adults. They fit and seal perfectly on both big faces and small faces. The double around-the-head straps are comfortable and mostly stay in place even on my straight, slippery hair (I put the bottom strap under my hair and the top strap over the top of my head). There are no leaks. They are easy to put on and get the right fit, too, you just stretch them out top to bottom, which simultaneously puts just the right bend in the metal nose piece, and there is a gasket around the top edge to really seal. These are so much less of a struggle and the protection is so much more thorough than the typical non-fitted, non-adjustable n95's. I don't know whether they would fit children, but my head is pretty small, and even masks intended for youths tend to be to big and ill-fitting for me.

Great Respirator but Questionable Shipping
First- This NIOSH approved 3M disposable N-95 respirator, Model 1870 plus is an excellent respirator for many people, including me, because it tends to fit more face shapes and sizes than the the molded, dome-shaped models. The most important thing for any respirator is that it fits the wearer with no air leakage. I have been fit-tested at work with this model as well as the dome-shaped model that I have worn for work for many years (3M model 8210), so I know that both provide appropriate protection when my elastomeric respirators are not needed . The 1870 plus flat pack design makes it easier to keep in a purse, backpack, or car glove compartment than the molded models. This has been helpful to me, as I still wear an N-95 respirator when around groups of strangers, since I cannot risk exposure to certain respiratory diseases due to my own health status. The thing I like best about the 1870 plus flat pack design is that it is much easier to wear glasses! I would recommend trying this design (3M 1870+ or 3M 9205+ or 9210+) if the molded versions make it difficult for you to have your glasses properly situated on your nose, or if the glasses constantly fog up. What's the difference between these three flat pack 3M N-95 disposable respirators, you might ask? • All three have the same fit and form factor. They all have an embossed panel to reduce eyewear fogging, are compatible with variety of eyewear, have a chin tab for ease of positioning, donning and adjustment, are individually wrapped • 9205+ & 9210+ are identical except for the strap material. 9210+ head straps are woven cloth braided elastic. If that is what you want, choose this one. The 9205+ head straps are rubber. • 1870+ has rubber straps just like 9205+. This model has a higher fluid resistance and is approved for use as a surgical mask and healthcare use. Here is my concern. During the pandemic, there were many counterfeit respirators being sold online through third party vendors. I saw some in my job that were purchased by folks for home use. That is why I always ordered my personal supply directly from the manufacturer or from the Industrial Hygiene supply houses that I used for work. When looking to order this time, I saw several vendors selling them on Amazon, but rejected them and chose to buy directly from Amazon, since 3M lists Amazon on their website as a reseller. I fully expected the 20 respirators to arrive from Amazon in a sealed 3M box that contained the appropriate literature about the product. This is what is shown on the Amazon website. Instead, I received a plain plastic bag filled with twenty, individually wrapped 3M 1870 Plus respirators (as supplied by 3M). There were no product inserts or accompanying literature. I was tempted to send the order back, but I know the product and inspected the individual plastic wrap on each one, as well as compared them with identical respirators that were previously obtained from a legitimate source. Therefore I do believe the 20 respirators received from Amazon are legitimate, but given ongoing concerns about counterfeit products entering the marketplace, I advise the buying public to remain vigilant and know who you are dealing with. Lastly, a word to Amazon- if you do not plan to ship products like these respirators in the manufacturer's packaging, do not show them this way on your website and tell your customers up front so they are not unpleasantly surprised as I was.

Perfect for safety and travel
Elastic is durable and adjusts well without pulling hair. Creates a perfect seal that you can feel around the face. I still wear them for airline travel to avoid excess exposure. I can wear them several times before disposing. Well worth the $$.

Comfortable
I was using a different mask before, but wanted to try to see if others were more comfortable. This is a great mask. It never feels heavy or too tight, but still feels snug and safe. I was surprised with the quality and elasticity of the bands. They are tight, but not uncomfortable. I don’t feel the need to prestretch them so they can fit my head. I noticed a smell when taking the first one out of the box and bag, but my 8yo who is super sensitive to smells didn’t seem to notice when wearing one a few weeks later.

Legit 3M product and made in USA
Legit masks. Some of the reviews talk about packaging, fit and legitimacy of the product. I purchased them in April 2025. Mine were packed in legit 3M boxes, and individually wrapped. Boxes read “Made in USA with globally sourced materials.” The boxes have a lot number, date of manufacture (02/22/2023) and expiration date (02/22/2028). So mine are a couple of years old, which explains the sale price. The masks fit my large face and head fine, but do fog up my glasses a bit. I don’t plan to wear them all day or for hours on end, but in an emergency they would work fine. No crazy chemical smell other than the faint smells of the mask components themselves. Hope it helps.

The product is a copy and not a genuine 3M manufactured mask. The mask has rubber bands and staple pins that hold it together. The staple pins are a hazard for the face so definitely not recommended.
