Great value for money
Very satisfied with this purchase. Exceeded my expectations. Nice quality light, quite bright and the battery lasts long (a few hours) each night.

Good Solar Powered Lights (with Backup AA Battery)
The overall quality of these solar powered lights is really good, the strings are a decent length, there are eight different light modes to choose from, and the fifty crystal ball globes on each string resemble Christmas tree baubles, which produce a lovely soft lighting effect. The lights have an ingress protection rating of 65 (IP65), which is the minimum rating for a product to be considered as waterproof, and it should be sufficient enough for whatever the weather throws at them during the winter months in the UK.Bear in mind that apart from the wire, battery, and solar panel, the components are plastic, which on one hand is a good thing, because the globes will not shatter like glass if dropped, but on the other hand, the ground spike is relatively thin, and will bend or snap if inserted into hard ground.A backup AA battery is a really good idea, and in theory, should only be required for the winter months when there is very little sunshine to charge the internal battery via the solar panel. The backup AA battery also makes these string lights a viable option for indoor lighting, perhaps not on a Christmas tree, because you would need a healthy supply of batteries for that, but they would be perfectly fine decorative lights, festive or otherwise.£25.99 for the two pack isn't too bad, although they were a bit cheaper at £23.99 when ordered (and have been even cheaper before that), but that only reveals the annual trend of price increases as Christmas draws nearer, which is usually in preparation for reducing the prices back to what they were, just in time for any new year sales or offers.

Pretty lights but one pack was faulty
Set of two solar lights, fantastic price so although one of the sets didn't work properly i didnt think it was worth returning, only the battery function works on one set so they are no good as solar lights, the other set worked for both battery & solar function

Warm, cheerful outdoor solar lights
If you like a display outside your house for Christmas (or indeed for any other celebration!) but are a bit nervous about the size of your electricity bill, these solar lights are ideal. They are warm lights and look like little light bulbs rather than the ordinary kind of LED lights. They're quite bright and charge up really well from their little solar plates even on dull days, staying on for most of the evening even at the darkest time of year (they also have a timer function so you can turn them off after bedtime). You can also run them off batteries if it's been a really awful day weatherwise! They are waterproof, snowproof and windproof. We put ours in the tree outside our house - you get two strings in this set so quite a lot of coverage, although you'd need to buy 2 or 3 sets if you wanted to do a tall tree or put them all around your house.

They don’t work
Bought these as they have battery backup put them on my tree outside along with other lights. They don’t work have not worked since I put them up. The test works on the battery for a few seconds then nothing very disappointing will be sending them back in Jan when I can get them back down from the tree
