How did I ever live with these?! These are perfect for your broths and stocks. I pull mine out and sit in a colander over a pot until it cools, then squeeze out any remaining liquid. No more oops spills!

So nice to not have to pour the whole pot of broth through a fine strainer into another bowl or pot to remove the bones, bits, and pieces. Just lift the bag out, and you have a nice clear chicken broth. These worked quite well, and are large enough to fit a decent-sized chicken. Maybe not a whole monster chicken, but one could always break the chicken down a bit and place the pieces into the bag separately. I will definitely purchase these again.I did NOT try to wash the bag after use; I was in a rush, and that seems a little iffy to me, anyway.

This was exactly what my wife and I needed! We used one drawstring bag to hold enough crunched black walnuts to dye a whole bunch of wool yarn. Super easy to use, and cheap enough to toss it out afterwards. Made the process simple. Like a giant, sturdy teabag. Could definitely wash and reuse. Would definitely reccomend, although I have not tried using for cooking. I'm sure it will function well.

They are smaller than I thought they would be. The ad must be referring to a very small chicken. It did not fit over the 7 lb carcass as I had hoped. I had to break it down to make it fit. But when the soup was done clean-up was a breeze! That worked as advertised.

I used this product to put all of my ingredients in for my homemade tea. It was so convenient to just pull the sack out of the pot and squeeze any excess liquid. No more double straining. I didn't clean the sack ( too lazy), I threw it away. Absolutely love it ❣️

This works great for making chicken soup. A whole chicken will fit in this bag snd prevent bones from getting in the soup as it simmers and falls apart. Then you just take the bag out of the soup, dump the chicken out snd debone it

Exactly as advertised, worked like a charm for keeping broth clear. Easy to tie shut and not too hard to open even when drawstring is wet. Bags are smallish (per product dimensions) but because there are several in a pack, easy to just split the ingredients and bung in multiple bags if you're doing a big prep.

How did I ever live without these! Takes all the pain out of making stock - no more straining and chasing little bits out. The only drawback is the string lasts only for the first use - it's impossible to untie it when wet, so I just cut it off. I tie the mouth of the bag with kitchen twine and it works perfect. Not sure if these were meant to to be disposable - they are good quality muslin and I happily wash and reuse them.
