Will this work on ipads in the classroom? I have older but good headsets to convert.

It is mono and not stereo so it Will only work out of one side of your old headphones. Find the same thing with two black stripes in it and it will do exactly what you want. So you want to make sure that it says stereo to stereo

would this work to use the 1/4 jack of a wireless mic into the audio of my Samsung phone?

If your phone had a separate plug for audio input (mic) and it is 1/8”, this should work. If it has a single plug that handles audio input and output, then this adapter will not work.

I am wanting to use this to connect my electric guitar to my computer input (1/8) jack for direct recording. Would this work?

Yes, it will allow you to connect your 1/4” male guitar cable into the 1/8”female input of your computer. I’ve found it better to use a pre-amp into the computer to help boost the signal from the guitar.
