It is hard to find real copper wire that isn't expensive. This roll of copper wire is heavy, high quality, long, and worth the money.

The UTILE Bare Soft 99% Copper Wire is great for jewelry making. It is easily bendable and super durable. I am having a little trouble getting it to stay the way I want, but once I get the hang of it the wire will make amazing crafts.

Good quality wire for what my purpose was. It was even easy to cut.

I got this wire becasue I was trying my hand at wire weaving. I have yet to finish a project with it, but I have played with the end pieces some. It is a nice soft, pliable wire to work with, and stays fairly malleable through a few bending trials, before getting too stiff to work with. It is also very forgivable, meaning, I was able to take a rubber tip plier and straighten out the kinks a couple times, and I was able to get the wire back to a smooth clean state that can still be worked with... important stuff when you are a beginner and make a lot of fixable mistakes while learning! The wire I have is 24 gauge, just thin enough, without being too thin, to comfortably wrap around and weave thicker wire that is used for the design and framework. Any heavier and it might start getting more difficult for this sort of work, especially on smaller more delicate pieces... larger projects this weaving should work more than fine! It is a little thin to be the design/stability wire, but that is also relative depending on the size piece you are working on. The spool it comes on is relatively decent, with a clear ring that holds the wire in place, but I plan to transfer it over to a silicone spool because they are made to hold the wire better and smoother. This is a very nice clean copper wire... I do not know how it holds stains or patinas for altering the look... I guess that might be a matter of the chemicals you are working with, if at all.

This wire is very nice, the correct gauge and strong. I twisted and bent the wire quite a bit and it didn't crack or break like some lesser quality wires I've ordered on line. This is actual copper wire, that is good for crafting, or better copper wire wrap. It's not super soft, has some body and behaves reasonably for wire wrap. The spool it comes on is okay, but the shield that keeps the wire in place is flimsy. The wire usable end was not secured or presented as obvious. To find it I had to remove the shield and the wire spun out. So, take care with this and try to find the wire, pull it out and secure it. They could have taken the end and simply wrapped it through the hang loop, but they didn't. Take could have been a disaster, had I not been trying to avoid that crisis. But, really the user end of this wire should be obvious and should be secured. The anchor end of the wire is secured well, and you can see that. I'm still offering 5 stars for value, the quality of the wire, but the complaint should be addressed prior to sending it to customers. The shield should be better, and should cover more of the spooled wire. The loose end of the wire needs to be secured well in some way to avoid a spin out messy nest.
