I ordered two bags which was the best quantity deal on these at the time of purchase. each bag is supposed to have 160 jewels and I ended up with 350 total between the two bags so 30 extra. since I might be giving/trading these with another board game collector of older games I thought I would sort these to see if I had excess of certain colors that I would be willing to trade from my inventory for older gaming pieces. so the photo shows the tally. I have some slight blue green color blindness so look at the picture of yourself and see if you agree. I had 17 different color jewels. The left two columns are very distinct so I won't discuss those. at the top of the three right columns you have yellow-orange yellow-green and a slightly pale yellow. let's say you got one bag and we're a little short on a color you probably could mix the yellow green in with the other two colors and no one would be the wiser but you wouldn't want to have those yellow-green in with either of the other two in the same game because they're so close. Below these are two shades of pink, one being darker and one being lighter. here again the lighter pink is very much like the yellow green and that it could mix with the clear or the darker pink but you wouldn't want it in the same game with either of those. skipping down to the bottom row of those columns we have the turquoise which I initially had in one big pile; partially interchangeable and who knows I am partially colorblind, but they should not be in the same game together. I'd call the 15 to the right bordering on a light blue.I am thoroughly satisfied with what I bought and of course your numbers will vary in your bag. If it works out that you only want to order one bag be advised one will get on average maybe 11 of each color, so if you're needing ten of a certain color you may not get it, but at the same time the turquoise pink and yellow are close enough that you could mix them and call them the same. In my two bags I only got 10 violet/pink for example, three other colors were 16 to 17. Enjoy and I shall be putting my sorted jewels into separate little Ziploc bags. i'm planning to use the clear or light pink immediately in a game called concordia to take the place of salt tokens. these pieces match the description for their size which is substantial but not too big for a board game.

Beautiful, varied colors. My almost 3 year old loves them and played with the jewels for an extended period. It was dumping and pouring bliss I tried to do a color sort into matching cups, but she just wanted to do her own thing. Great for counting, hide and seek! High quality, perfect weight. Exactly what I was looking for. Don’t hesitate to buy them. A storage container would have made the purchase top notch.

These plastic gems are exactly as described. We like to hide them in the sandbox and the toddlers dig for buried treasure. The are fun and festive and are great for many activities. The colors are bright and vibrant with no sharp edges.

Used for gem mining. Kids loved it but I wish it didnt have so many duplicate colorsThe picture showed more variety but we didnt get that

I purchased these to make dragon eye lens jewels for a How to Train Your Dragon scavenger hunt. More than enough for twelve jewel bags. Came out really cute. Note the colors do not come in an even quantity. I think there were about 15-16 colors in different amounts. Worked out great and the kids loved them.

I was pleasantly surprised by these. The shapes are irregular and look a lot like faceted rocks. The colors are bright and there's a nice variety.The plastic bag was open when I opened the box so I counted them, expecting to be short. 183! They're very compact and sit tightly against each other. I'll definitely buy more.

My son just had his second birthday party! It was curious george themed and there is a movie “curious george sails with the pirates and other curious capers” these went perfect with the little pirate george and his pirate ship sand box. I put these little gems in the sand to look like burried treasure along with some mini treasure chests. Only problem was one little girl thought they were candy and tried to eat one and got hurt/scared.Also had a sand table with burried dinos and ride on kids toys and the sandbox and accessories was by far the biggest hit!

These are pretty cool and just what I was looking for. I wanted some “jewel” looking items to glue onto mermaid and unicorn crowns that I’m making, and these worked out perfectly. They shipped fast and there are a lot to choose from. They are rather large.
