Silver Embossed Floral Damask Business Card Case Wallet

I have what I call my 'mama wallet' with my checkbook, library card, and every other card given to me. But I never carry it - it is too big! Instead I carry this. One side holds my folded dollars. The other my credit card, drivers license, etc. It can hold around 7 or so cards comfortably on one side. So I walk out the door with my cell phone, my keys and this wallet - simple, easy, no fuss!The reason I buy a new one every 3 years or so is because the gray band holding everything in place ends up stretching. I don't mind replacing it every couple of years because the price is right.I like this holder better than the other similar ones. Here is why:- It is the perfect size to hold credit cards- It has 2 sides (unlike most of the other ones that only have on side to store items) - again one side for dollar bills - the other side for credit cards, etc.- Many others have a metal holder to hold things in place. The problem with the metal bar - it doesn't really hold things in place like the elastic bands. The bands work much better!Others have complained that the clasp does not work correctly. I have seen this and know what they mean. This is not an expensive item. it probably costs less than a dollar to make. And every once in a while I pick up one with a faulty clasp. This is my first time purchasing this wallet on-line. Before I have always seen them randomly in a store, and made sure that the clasp worked before buying it. Unfortunately, with an on-line purchase I can't make sure I am not buying a lemon. But Amazon does have a good return policy - so hopefully this item qualifies if you accidentally get a lemon. (BTW, I have seen them in a store for $5-7, but it is such a random item I never remember where I see it - so I am purchasing it this time from Amazon even though the price is a bit higher.)Because it does look and feel a bit cheap (again because it is!) I am constantly on the lookout to find a 'higher quality' version of this exact wallet, and have yet to find one. Which is why I am on my 5th purchase of this case. After 15 years of use I just can't find better.To summarize, if you get a good one (and 97% of the ones I have seen work great), you will love it for its ease and simplicity!

This is a very nice case. I use it for a wallet on most days and an ID/business card holder when I'm out on business. There are two elastic straps - that are detachable - on each of the insides. It holds money/cards well, and you can put quite a bit of stuff in it.Con: Sometimes the cards are "difficult" (read: not fast enough) to get out. Credit type cards come right up to the inside edge walls of the case. So it can be "difficult" to get your finger underneath a card and pull it out. I say "difficult" because it could be easier and I don't like fuddling around with it when I'm in a checkout or trying to hand someone a card. Though the elastic straps can come out so that you can get a card and put them back in, I'd prefer something faster. Something like a little bump in the middle of the inside so that you can push the edge of a card down and the other end tips up just a little for you to grab - that would be a great improvement!

This case is small enough to fit easily into a woman's jean pocket, but holds all of my cards and cash. The latch clasps tightly, and holds even when the case is dropped. The elastic bands it shows in the picture were replaced on the case I received by a metal arm on each side that is spring loaded to hold tight as much or little as you put in the case. This works well when held open like a book, but everything will fall out if you tun it upside down. Since these metal arms are not what is described in the description or pictures, I did deduct one star from my review, although I am not unhappy with them so far. The case is metal, making it feel substantial, but is very light. The design on the front and back is exactly as pictured. I am happy with my case and would recommend it to anyone wanting a small wallet/ case.

It's nicely constructed and attractive. I can imagine myself in 1890's London carrying a sterling silver case to hold my calling cards! Of course, it's not sterling silver, but it is nice. The only problem is on the inside. You push the button and the case springs open. Each side can hold a number of cards and they're held in place by a non-removable elastic strap. However, the metal edges are rolled inward. They're not sharp or dangerous, but you can't simply slide a card out. I often have to get a fingernail underneath the top card and pry it out. But, like other things, sometimes you have to put up with small annoyances to look cool.

The case was what I had ordered, except for the band color inside. The picture shows grey but the bands that I got were yellow. A couple reviewers mentioned that their cases were a gold color, I was a little worried about this, but the one I received was what had been ordered: chrome. The catch a release button is a tad wonky, and I have to apply a lot of pressure for it to release or snap shut, but what can you expect for the price?The seller shipped quickly and it arrived in a timely manner, as well as being adequately packaged so that it didn't get scratched to hell in the process.

I bought this case to hold my credit cards, etc. so I expected it to have some sort of pockets inside for easy removal of individual cards. I have a case made by another company and they have pockets inside. What I found was an elastic band on each side. It has some sort of clasp so that you can detach the elastic but it is not easy to do. With this arrangement I would have to take out all of the cards on one side and sort through them to find the one I want. Also, it is not as thick as the usual case you find on the market so it doesn't hold as many cards. I tried putting in my cards just to try it out but I was immediately dissatisfied with the result.I must admit this is my fault. When I looked at the product description again I found there was another photo which showed the inside but I hadn't noticed that photo. I've learned my lesson. Be sure to look at all of the photos.Otherwise, it is well-built and attractive. I gave it to my husband and he plans to use it as a cigarette holder which is probably what it was intended for.
