Semi-Permanent Hair Dye Purple AF - Vegan Ammonia-Free - 8 Fl Oz

I bleached my roots to a level 8, and applied Arctic Fox Purple AF onto them. Honestly, turned out darker than I expected, but I've heard good things about the way it looks as it fades, so I'm not too worried about that, and I still love the color. The back of my head lifted a little more than the front and it's brighter by a bit, but it's hard to get a picture of that lol. I recommend this color, but I can't say how long it lasts because I just dyed my roots 3 days ago and have only rinsed my hair once so far. My scalp is definitely purple so beware of purple nails if you scratch ur head. I love the way it smells btw, I've never thought it was overwhelming or too strong. I've used other colors from this brand in the past (sunset orange and whatever the red is called), and it faded within 2-3 weeks but honestly, I was 16/17 so I had no hair care routine and always washed my hair in hot water, so that's prolly why ngl. I'm excited to see how it fades.

Very very nice hair dye,its sure stains everything so you have to be carefull when applying to your hair because you can stain your furniture,but overall I love the color and its very durable during washes,love that it doesnt go reddish so much

1 of the best purples. Purple is a hard color to get right because it tend to pull 1 way or the other on the color scale, either too blue or too pink. This 1 hits that Goldielocks middle. Of course it doesn't last as long as permanent color because it's not permanent! No developer is used the color is pigment based The BEST way to get absolute most pigment and longest lasting is to bleach your hair. If you have super dark hair try double bleach method which is far less harsh on ur hair than trying to go in once super strong (YouTube has excellent videos, watch a few to understand the process as much as possible). When ur hair is lightened do NOT condition your hair. You want your hair ready to soak up and absorb all the pigment it can. Arctic Fox will not damage your hair. It's basically a super conditioning mask that deposits color. Don't skimp on color get as much on as possible. Make sure you get every strand on all sides! Cover with shower cap and leave on as long as you can. I usually leave it over night. Rinse with cold water and follow bottle directions. Because I'm not perfect and I always miss spots no matter how hard I try. I blow dry and go through my hair to check for missed areas or not fully saturated areas. Right away on dry hair I do my hair again putting extra focus on parts I missed. Usually the areas I would brush up to put my hair in a ponytail. I cover and leave it for an hour or as long as I can. Then rinse with cold and wash like the bottle says. Color always comes out more even. Please be safe when bleaching hair! I'm no professional this is just how I get the best results.

I love Arctic Fox Semi-Permanent Hair Dye. I have used a few different colors (Green doesn't usually show in my hair (Dirty strawberry blond (or dark blonde/light brunette)), but blues and purples show up great. THE SMELL IS AMAZING!!!!!! Sorry to shout it but WOW! It smells like grape... to me anyway. And my hair feels so healthy after rinsing it out). Love it! If you are looking for semi-permanent hair color that doesn't leave your hair feeling dead or icky, then this is for you. For extra measure, I would also recommend their brand of Resurrection shampoo and conditioner. A wide variety of colors to choose from for a decent price. Ships quickly. AND you can leave it in your hair for 20 minutes or HOURS!!!! I have done so before and my hair still felt healthy and the colors were lovely. THANK YOU!!!!!!

works great looks cute and shows well with my brown hair. comes out super fast tho... def gunna need lost of bottles if you're gunna keep doing touch ups lol. also mixing their teal/aqua color is super cute and dark. looks great if you bleach or have faded color already!!(also the color alone with bleached/faded color looks sooo good and def very purple!) i just needed two bottles (used half of one once and then the rest and another half the second time, i have long layered curly wavy hair). it smells great too and keeps my hair supper soft!! definitely recommend !!!<3<3

My hair was lightened to blonde with a few brassy areas. I put a few drops into my conditioner, left it in for 15 minutes, and it made a very nice pastel which is what I was going for. It looked pink when I didn't put enough in but I got it just right the second time. In my hair, the color seems to fade fast compared to other warmer colored dyes but it applies across multiple brands I've tried. This a very good product to make a lilac pastel on light hair.

Arctic Fox enttäuscht mich echt nie ! Die Farbe ist super knallig wen die Haare vorher hell genug sind. Das Lila ist echt der Hammer und der Geruch der Farbe ist einfach nur toll 😍 Sie färbt auch nicht so krass ab wie andere semipermanente Haarfarben. Ich kann’s nur weiterempfehlen!

I used Purple AF, and I love it so much!! It works really well, doesn't smell bad like other dye, and the bottle lasts for multiple uses. It definitely does stain skin and such easily, but if you're careful it's not too bad. And the results are very worth it! My bleach didn't lighten my hair fully this time as my hair is quite stubborn, but I dyed it anyway and left the dye on for about an hour. I love the sort of vibrant plum tones it has!

I love this sooooo muchh!!! it shows up only in the sun if you have dark to golden brown hair like me but I did have bleached highlights which dyed so beautifully, It did not damage my hair at all it felt like a leave in conditioner but it did stain a lot my bathroom stained a lottt but it’s fine I like this so much so worth it if you want more of a vibrant color I’d recommend you use a developer or keep it on for more than two hours.

I use this over my natural hair (light brown with lots of grey) with brilliant results! I shampoo and dry my hair before applying it with a brush. I leave it on for as long as possible (hours usually because I lose track of time) then rinse and condition well because the product has lots of protein in and can be quite drying. The 4oz bottle is more than enough for shoulder length hair and I can get almost 3 applications out of the 8oz bottle (which is a lot better value) Colour fades at the roots quite quickly for me and for my friends who use it, but stays in the lengths for AGES. I last used this almost three months ago and my hair still has a purple tinge to it. Sticks well and looks really vibrant on my greys (like glittery highlights). I love how rich the colour is when it's freshly done. Washes easily off your bathroom, and is easy to get off your skin too. Will cause purple rivulets down your face and body in the shower durung first few washes, but that scrubs off. While its fresh, the colour does transfer to clothes/fabrics (like pillowcases) and to skin easily (hello purple neck and shoulders!) but again, it washes out easily and doesn't make permanent stains. Much better product than Manic Panic or XL Live colours...very VERY worth the price tag
