SHU-SHI Womens Sheer Shrug Cardigan Lightweight Mesh Knit 3/4 Sleeve

Ladies, I almost want to gatekeep this one but I feel I've found the holy grail of summer shrugs. It's extremely hot out right now, necessitating short sleeves, but as always I hate showing my flabby upper arms. I ordered two of the shrugs, in clay (photo) and black. Wow - just perfect. They cover the arms and finish the outfit beautifully, and are so lightweight they add no body heat nor any heaviness in packing. I also like that if you don't want to tie them, they snap right back into shape to be worn untied. Nice ruffle detail along the edges. Now, they are delicate and you do have to be very careful not to snag them; not so much when wearing them as when handling them (beware of ragged fingernails). But I intend to get several more colors, and to give them as gifts when occasions come up. Great product, solves a lot of my summer fashion problems.

This is such a great little top. I first found the identical top in an upscale shop that sells mainly linen clothes and accessories. I bought one in a champagne color for, $40.00! Fast forward and I was browsing through Amazon and found this for $23.00! I'll probably buy another one in a different color because they look so nice over a sleeveless dress or top. Just right for spring and summer. It's one-size -fits-all but I would say even though it's very stretchy, it would fit someone who wears a size 12 and under depending on whether your arms are heavy or not.

I love how light this is. The off-white is perfect, not too yellow or tan. It feels and looks feminine. It's lovely. I typically wear an XL and this one-size, despite my concern, is nowhere close to being too tight on me anywhere. However, I do have long arms, so it turns out that the sleeves barely cover my elbows. I'd prefer a 3/4 length, so I'm going to look for a long-sleeved version of the same shrug and give that a try. The overall length in the back works well for me. It falls just a couple inches below my natural waist, which looks better than having to stretch something across my hips, just to have it work its way up into a bunch in the back waist. However, when I allow the fronts to fall open and off to my sides, as they want to do, I find that the shrug tends to loosen its fit across the upper back, allowing it to start slipping off my shoulders. It's just very stretchy, so I'm thinking of sewing in a shoulder stay to keep the back from stretching apart, because it's more flattering when the shoulder seams stay where they should. These are someone minor issues, though, especially compared to what a practical addition to my summer wardrobe it's been. I'm glad I ordered it.

I needed a light cover to go over a black dress and this worked perfectly. It looks small when you take it out of the bag but it does stretch to fit. It is versatile too in that you can leave it open or tie it in the front.

I got the blue color, which is very pretty. Love the material and style. I took off a few stars due to the inside tag being sewn a bit unevenly on a seam. Since the material is so sheer, it does show a bit. Also, I thought the price was a bit high. It did wash up well, using a delicate garment bag and on the gentle cycle. Overall, I’m happy with the shrug and will enjoy it this summer. I have similar shrugs and know that the fabric and light weight quality is perfect for the summer!

I ordered the navy blue, dusty pink, red, gray, brown, turquoise, cream, lemon yellow, and lavender. I am 5 foot five and 117 pounds. They fit perfectly without stretching them or anything. I just had to pull them down a little in the back to make them longer. They have ALOT of stretch to them, so I feel like they would fit me if I had an extra 50 pounds on me, maybe even more. If you tie it in the front it ends up stretching it out a little to make it longer in the front, but not in a weird way, so it looks fine and you can still wear it straight down afterward. The one thing I was worried about is if the material would be itchy but it isn't. The colors of the navy blue, dusty pink, red, gray, and brown are perfectly normal and very pretty. I am returning the turquoise, cream, lemon yellow, and lavender. I am very white and pale skin with blond hair and green eyes and these colors were very harsh on my skin tone. I felt like they were a little off compared to normal colors of those descriptions. But these four colors would look excellent on African-American skin or an olive complexion in my personal opinion. They just made me look too yellow-ish. I was disappointed in the lemon yellow because it was not a soft lemon color. It was more of a neon yellow. Didn't like it. The turquoise was pretty true to a turquoise color and actually it didn't look too bad on me but I had the navy one and I didn't absolutely love the turquoise so I'm returning it. In my opinion, the beige was not really a true beige... it had kind of a strange yellowish tint to it. Very unattractive on my skin... but like I said on African-American skin or an olive complexion it would look beautiful. I was super disappointed in the lavender. It tended to be a little more neon-ish and not a soft lavender. But the navy blue, dusty pink, red, gray, and brown are very true to their color description. The brown is like a chocolate and I was relieved because the picture made it look kind of like an orangey brown but it's definitely a chocolate brown. The dusty pink is very soft and feminine, the navy is a typical navy, and the red is very pretty... it's more of a burgundy red not an orange red. The dark gray is very nice, and about the color depth of a navy blue or black. I know that they will be one of those types of clothing that you have to be very careful about snagging. They are really lightweight and are going to be perfect to wear over sundresses in the summer without being overheated or even feeling like you have anything on. So they're perfect for me because I don't like my upper arms showing, yet they are see-through so you see your skin and everything but they kind of cover up a little saggy skin LOL. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase because, as any of you know who have been trying to find decent shrugs, it isn't an easy task... especially trying to find colors other than black, white, or ivory. I had no luck at the mall's or anywhere and just found this on Amazon and thought I'd give it a shot. I feel like they're a little overpriced and I would've preferred to pay like 12 bucks apiece but it's worth it considering I couldn't find any elbow length shrugs of various colors elsewhere and they go with all my sundresses .... so I hope this review helps anybody who has any questions :)

QUALITY POOR! The item was defective when I received it but I did not notice until I noticed a slipped stitch in the back when I was wearing over a black top Cheaply made or poor quality control. I do not recommend buying this product

I looove this Shrug! Super cute, fits perfectly and literally goes with anything, dresses, shirts, anything;) I ordered two more and probably will order more🤗
