Also works great on my MacBook Pro. I often work at my place in WV and there isn't any viable wireless options, so I use my S21 (previously my S8) to stream content and as a hotspot. You could do the same thing with your Roku tv and stream through your phone or use the Roku functionality on the TV. That said, this adapter works extremely well for streaming from an app on your phone directly to your tv via HDMI. NOTE: (I had to do this) In order to get your S21 (and very likely the S9) to display on the tv in Full screen, there is a Display setting that needs to be updated on the phone. Under the Display option in Settings you need to enable the app in question under the 'Full Screen Apps' option.
