I wear a 36w x 30l, what size should I order. A lot of reviews say go a size or 2 larger?

I would agree to go 2 sizes larger in the waist! My son wears 40 waist x 32 length jeans & a 44x32 in these Carhartt overalls fit great- a loose fit. My son is 6ft tall 250 pds btw

why doesn't carhart make them with pouches anymore not interestesd in overalls without a place to put things ?

Not sure if it is true, it might be a patent issue? Ben Davis makes the bibs with attached pockets just like carhartt used to?

Are these lined? Made for cold weather?

They are not lined, though the outer shell is a fairly heavy fabric. You may wish to look at the following styles: R41, 104031, 104393, R38, and 104461.

The length is true to size. Go a size bigger in the waist if you’re going to wear a sweatshirt.
