If your intention is to wear this out with your hair down as a fashion statement, then it serves its purpose. HOWEVER, if you intend to wear this as a protective nightcap so your hair doesn't damage during sleeping, do - not - buy - this. I have slightly long wavy hair that isn't too thick and this would not fit my hair at all; it kept slipping off before I even went to bed rendering it useless. I have no idea how women with afro-textured hair (the audience this product is marketed for) could fit their hair underneath this cap considering their hair has more volume than mine. n o b u e n o
