Beautiful shawl!
Wore this as my shawl for pictures at my (lightly) Scottish themed wedding! I’m glad I chose it. It’s beautiful, richly colored, and super soft! It’s also something I can continue to wear during all cold weather seasons.

Very soft and cashmere like
My tartan is the MacKay ancient tartan and I wore it with the MacKay crest kilt pin. I was surprised at the excellent quality. I wore it to go to a doctor's appointment and to the grocery store to pick up a few items yesterday; I had 4 complements at the doctor's office and 2 at the grocery store! That made my day!! I definitely recommend this tartan!

Achillea Long and Wide Scottish Tartan Plaid...
It is smaller than pictured. Not any wider than any standard shawl. I was disappointed. I expected more covering and I am a smaller sized person than most. It is an ORDINAY sized shawl and has not enough room on it for swathing oneself with it in dramatic folds as pictured.... NOPE. This is plain and just goes around the shoulder. It would never drape the way this does in The Picture. The cloth feels only like what it is: in this case, an oblong shawl with no real possibilities for swathing oneself as the model is doing...

Giftable? Unsure. Still smells bad
The media could not be loaded. It clearly states "DRY CLEAN OR HAND WASH" Nothing about Being "Machine Washable" as the seller Advertises here. I took the chance anyway. I gave one to an elderly loved one in a Nursing home BEFORE receiving it and seeing this Tag. I can Guarantee they will not be washing it by hand or dry cleaning it. I will now have to instruct them to return it or try to launder it in their washing machine.ALSO: I kept 2 to decide on colors. Gave 1, and was going to gift the other, which I am now going to return for the reasons listed. I washed the green/blue 3 times and rinsed several times, and even added downy a 4th time. It still smells so odd. It first smelled like Bad body odor.They are very pretty and very soft though. I sure wish the seller was more up front about the item. Also, more USA made as well would be nice. And why is it that so many AMAZON products smell so bad? Really REALLY BAD.

Beautiful but not Black Watch
Really liked it. Soft blanket feel and bright colors. Only issue (and one that may only concern a few select people) is that this tartan is not Black Watch. It is a beautiful plaid. The tram lines are not correct, but it looks really pretty.

Great quality!
This scarf is of good quality, not thin at all. Its actually kind of thick and when doubled over it makes for the perfect winter scarf to keep you neck and chest warm. Its big enough to be warn by itself with a nice brooch or cloak pin.

A really nice shawl
I bought 3 of these in green & red. I kept one and wore it several times in Dec. because it was green & red. I gave a second one to my daughter, and she loves it. The third one I donated for a raffle for an organization I am in. We sold tickets for $1 each at our Christmas luncheon and ended up selling about $40 in tickets. The winner was thrilled!!! These shawls are a very nice quality. I will certainly buy again.
