Do I need to use distilled water or will it work with tap water?

Tap water works fine, but I use filtered. it’s better as you’ll get limescale build up eventually

What is the maximum height of the stand?

I would highly recommend the speedy press it’s great with linens I do them for my daughters company and it’s much quicker than a normal iron leaves the linen pristine to put onto the beds
